I Just Wanted to be Free

Prologue

It's officially December 17th and it my birthday. If you are reading this thank you. You just gave me my birthday present by continuing. Stay tune for the rest of the day.

"Are you sure about this Padfoot?"

"It's the best plan, Prongs? Having Wormtail as the secret keeper would be best. No one would suspect him.?"

"Wormtail are you okay with this?"

"Of course James. What are friends for?" James smiled and Peter and Sirius patted Peter.

"You are extremely brave Peter." Lily who was holding Harry at the time spoke.

"Peter we would always be thankful for what you are doing for us and Harry. Harry truly has the best uncles around him. Too bad Lupin could be here."

"Let me hold my godson one last time." Sirius grabs Harry from Lily's arms and holds him tight. "Now little you and your parents have to leave for a while but I promise the next time I see you I will be with your cousin." He gives baby Harry a kiss on his head and hands him back to Lily.

"It's time for you four to go," Sirius tells them. James hugs his brother.

"Find her Sirius; keep her and your son safe for me."

"I promise James." Sirius gives James a tight hug back. They both release. Sirius moves to Lily and hugs her and baby Harry one last time. Sirius then apparated and he was gone.

A few months have passed. "Lily runs and gets Harry and leaves."

"No James we'll leave together."

"Lily." James looked into her eyes and she knew. She gave him a kiss and ran with Harry. James tried to fight Voldemort off but he was killed. He went upstairs and found Lily.

"Step aside and you will live." He offers Lily.

"Never."

"Avada Kedavra." Lily was killed. Voldemort went to Harry first and scarred him with a lightning bolt. He cursed him but it backfired and he was killed.

"James! Lily!" A man outside was yelling he walked in and first saw James. "No, no, no" he grabbed James.

"James! James!" a woman came in and saw and she was in tears. She ran to them both. "Sirius, what happened?" She speaks. "You were supposed to protect them."

"Beth I'm sorry. I will find Peter and make him pay." She was confused but Sirius was already out the door. Beth then heard crying. She ran upstairs and saw Harry but she stopped.

"Severes." She found Snape in tears holding Lily in his arms.

"He lied. He promised but still lied and now she is dead." Beth moves towards a crying Harry. She lifted him up and calmed him down. But then there was another murmur of crying. Beth moves towards the sound. She removed a blanket and under it was another baby.

"Elizabeth." Beth gasp. Moments have passed. Hagrid has come for Harry. Beth handed Harry over and she believed he was safer in his aunt's household. She believes in Dumbledore.

"Beth what about your daughter?"

"I can't leave with her then it will put my son in danger as well. We must go back."

"No. I will never return to them."

"Severus, please. When I return, who knows what they will do with me but I need someone I can trust to protect my children."

"Beth I ..."

"I understand Severes she needs you as I do. We both need you to watch over our children." He promised to do it. Severus tried to convince her to leave but she still didn't accept."Take us back. So you can get the credit for returning us." Which is what he did.

"Severes where is the Dark Lord?" Lucious Malfoy asking.

"He was killed by the boy." All the death eaters who were there were in shock. Some began to flee to hide.

"You have brought them back. Well done." one of the death eaters grabbed onto Beth and held her back while Lucios walked near the baby. "She will be the key to his return."

"And she will also be his demise." They all turn to Beth "The Dark Lord may return but he will be destroyed again."

"Petrificus Totalus." Lucious cast the spell on Beth. He grabbed the baby from Snape's arms.

"Promise to take very care of your child." Lucious sends her away. "What is her name?"

"Elizabeth Serena Lupita Jamie Gaunt." Lucious looked at Snape strangely but Snape didn't react.

"Very well but no one can know who her true parents are."

"Since the unfortunate Peter Pettigrew has been killed he can be the father."

"Been sentenced to Azkaban for the murders of Peter plus James and Lily."

"Is that right?" Snape in his monotone voice. Lucious just nod. He turns back to the baby.

"The dark lord had plans for you which I do plan to follow through with. Severs we must make sure she is strong for the day she must face Harry Potter and for the return of the Dark Lord."
