-There will be no COVID in this story-

"Yeah, I'll see you all tomorrow!" I waved goodbye to the group of three in front of me and turned around to walk into my older brother Wilbur's apartment.

Smiling as I walked through the door, remembering the band practice I had just come from. Well, in reality, it was mostly just hanging out with my friends and randomly writing a line every now and then. But it was nice to just relax with them. Just staying in Alex's garage and every once in a while getting yelled at by their parents for being too loud.

Once I was inside, I tossed my bag from my shoulder and to the bench that was next to the door of the apartment I had been staying at for the past seven months. Our parents had been discussing their marriage and it was ultimately decided that it was best for me to stay with Wilbur for a while.

I made my way to Wilbur's office where he usually spent most of his days while pulling my phone out and moving my thumb around to open Postmates. I could tell that there was no way Wilbur had made something to eat.

"Hey, Will?" I called out, and after not receiving a response a made my way to the closed door. I raised my hand to the door and closed my fist before bringing my knuckles to meet the wood. "Wilbur, I'm getting some food-"

I froze and took in the sight in front of me. The ring light, the Twitch chat, Wilbur with his headphones in, and his attention shifting from the webcam attached to the top of his PC, to me. I knew I was in frame but I couldn't move. I was frozen. And I could feel my palms start to sweat along with my forehead before I snapped out of it and almost slammed the door shut, leaving me standing in front of it, freaking out.

Holy shit, there was no way the people watching didn't see me. I took my hand off of the doorknob and made my way quickly to my room where I opened up my laptop and pulled up Wilbur's stream. And sure enough, the only thing the chat was talking about was me. I watched as the chat flew by with questions. I watched as Wilbur tried to explain while also hesitating to see if he should check on me. I watched as negative people started to say something about my appearance. Shit. I had been avoiding this for so long and now it had finally happened. The world knew who I was. Well. Maybe not the world, but it was still terrifying.

I quickly shut the computer before I saw anything else and my head found it's way to my pillow. I heard Wilbur explain something to his chat, but I couldn't make out what he said. Moments later I heard my bedroom door open, the hinges creaking, and I looked over to see Wilbur leaning on the door frame. And suddenly I felt really guilty.

"I'm so sorry, I should've known you were streaming but I didn't, obviously. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to." I sat up and looked at Wilbur, terrified that he would be mad.

"It's fine Nell, really it is." I forced a smile before he continued. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I know how you get with all of this and I'm sorry if you saw someone say something in the chat, people can be real dickheads sometimes." I stifled a laugh which made Wilbur smile, seeing I wasn't that upset.

"Thank you, Will. I was gonna ask what you wanted to eat because knowing you, you probably have only eaten that bagel that was sitting on your desk. I was just going to get sushi if you're cool with that." He hummed his approval before walking back to his office.

I decided to watch his stream for a bit and opened my computer up again.

I had been watching his stream for a while, watching as he would every once in a while, answer questions. Most of them had to do with me but other than saying that I was his sister and that I was 16, a minor, so he was mostly keeping my information private or keeping it secret for me to share. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock coming from the front door which was most likely our food.
