Behind the temple doors

Part five

"You don't need to protect me" Vera said
I'm just trying to help you, why don't you let me help you?" I questioned while walking to the car
"because I don't need help! " Vera yelled in my face " I will go home by myself" she said while walking away from the car.
"Vera don't be like this just get into the car I will bring you to the temple" I said turning to her and opening the door of the car so she could get in.
Vera  walked over to the car and went to sit dozen and closed the door herself.

The whole car ride was quite when we arrived at the temple she went out of the car and she walked into the temple without saying anything. I wasn't sure if she wanted me to be with her now so I drove back to the den because I thought It would be good to talk to everyone just to clear some things out.

Vera's POV
When I walked into the temple I noticed Hamish drive away I was kinda shocked because I though he would follow me but maybe for the better that he left because I would just be annoying anyway.

I can't stop thinking about the fact that Hamish always tries to help me out and always tries to protect me. But if he knew the real me he wouldn't do that. Or would he? Just stop thinking about it I said to myself and started to get some work done.

"Kepler..." i said
"Hello Vera" Kepler answered
" what a surprise..." I said rolling my eyes at her " What are you doing here" I asked
"Can't I just come by to see an old friend? Kepler said with a smirk
"What do you want I don't have a whole day so spill it!" I said
"The council would like to have a talk with you about you being friends with the wolf's" she said with a smile
"omg the wolf's aren't that bad." I said annoyed
"If they aren't that bad you wouldn't mind them over right? Kepler answered
"Just invite them..." I said looking at my glass because I knew that they would be hard on me "now you can go"
"I will. Goodbye Vera" Kepler replied and walked  away from my office but she gave me one last nasty look so that I knew I was in trouble.

I need to call Hamish about what's happening but I don't think he would like to hear from me now but it's about the knights so he must know.
I called Hamish but he didn't answer so I drove to the den to find something I didn't want to see....
