"Sultanim, Mahidevran sultan is at the door," Helen said making me raise my eyebrow in confusion.
"Let her in" I nodded and handed Abdullah to Rosie just as Mahidevran walked in. I could see the look she gave to the baby, she was sad that the sultan no longer wanted her which means she can't have any more children.
"Is everything alright Mahidevran?" I asked standing up from my couch and stepping closer to her.
"I wanted to thank you, Mustafa informed me that you didn't leave his side for a second during the attack," She said looking like she was being forced to say those words and I know it hurts her dignity to say them.
"I must thank you too, Rosia informed me how you helped her with the twins," I said back. It was hard to thank the person who is basically my enemy but I don't want to be ungrateful so she won't rub it in my face.
"I'll leave you then" She nodded her head at me which I returned before she walked in. Before the doors closed Sunbul agha walked in and bowed to me.
"What is it Sunbul?" I asked. I could see Mahidevran stopping beside the door to hear what Sunbul. She was a curious one.
"His majesty ordered the painted Leo to come to the palace and continue the painting of him and Hurrem sultan and wishes for you to be added into the picture" I smirked as Mahidevran whirled around and stared in shock at me but I acted like I didn't see her.
"Alright then, wait for me to change" I ordered. He bowed and left the room to wait for me outside of the room.
I walked down the harem making the girls jump up and bow to me as I passed through. I could hear them whispering to each other but I ignored them. I walked out to the garden where Suleiman wanted to draw us. When I reached them Suleiman and Hurrem were already there waiting for me.
"Your majesty" I bowed to Suleiman who smiled at me and nodded before stepping closer to me and pulling me closer to the man I've never seen before.
"Leo, this is my wife Qamar Sultan and I want you to add her into the painting" Suleiman introduced. Leo looked up in shock when Suleiman introduced me as his wife making Nasuh effendi nudge him so he won't stare as he nodded his head. Suleiman sat on his throne and Hurrem stood behind him on his left.
"Your majesty, if you don't mind I was thinking that her majesty, Qamar sultan, can either stand behind you on your right or sit beside you on the throne" Leo explained going into artist mode which seemed to amuse Suleiman more than offend him.
"Qamar, come sit beside me" Suleiman moved to sit on one side and I sat on the other so we're even in sitting. Leo stepped closer to me making me lose my smile and look at him alarmed as he kneeled in front of me and started fixing my dress. Suleiman took my hand into his and gave it a small squeeze which meant that it was alright.
We sat like that for hours as he drew me on before he could continue the drawing. I could feel Hurrem's glare at the back of my head but I ignored it and fixed my Shawl so it would stay in the same position to not ruin Leo's vision. The entire time Suleiman held my hand refusing to let it go and I saw him giving Leo a look that meant he wanted it in the drawing too.
"Sunbul" Suleiman called breaking our trance as Leo continued drawing us. The four of us, Suleiman, Hurem, The dynasty, and me, the people in this relationship.
"Where is Ibrahim pasha?" Suleiman asked turning to look at the bowing man. Sunbul stood back up straight as I turned to look at him for his answer.
"Ibrahim pasha is in his castle," Sunbul asked. I looked at Leo to see him giving a longing look to Hurrem making me raise my eyebrow as she looked at him like she wanted him to just disappear.
"That's enough Leo, I'm bored" Suleiman stood with his hand still on mine so I stood up too as he fixed his kaftan.
"I want to visit Hatice if you want you two could come with me," Suleiman said looking between me and Hurrem.
"Forgive me your majesty but I need to stay with the kids, I haven't spent much time with them today," Hurrem said her excuse. She looked at me before she continued.
"But if you want you could come over for dinner tonight" She finished smirking at me as he nodded. I knew that tonight was her turn to spend the night with Suleiman and I've been preparing myself for this so her words didn't hurt me as much as she would've wanted.
"As for me, I have nothing and will be honored to accompany you," I said turning to look at Suleiman who turned his gaze to me and smiled brightly at me.
"It's settled then Sunbul prepare the carriage for the sultana and my horse" He ordered before pulling me to walk with him with our hands still intertwined. I smirked as I heard Hurrem huff angrily behind us.
"How's Osman, Abdullah, and Ayse?" He asked as we walked further into the garden where the beautiful flowers surrounded us like a cover.
"They're perfect and would be honored to see your holy face" I answered back. He smiled brightly at the complement pulling my hand up and placed a kiss on the back of it.
"Let's go," He said and pulled me to the road where my carriage was ready and so was his horse.
"Return the horse, I wish to ride in the carriage" He ordered. The boy holding the horse nodded and pulled the horse back towards the stables. He helped me into the carriage before getting himself, he knocked on the wall and the carriage started moving.
