I finish getting ready, and, it is my day off so i decide to take it easy, as per usual i go to my local coffee shop, which is situated just one block from my aparment bilding. I arrive and i order a capuccino and then when i go to look for money in my hand bag to pay, i realise i have a piece of paper with something written on it, it might just be me that wrote it to not forget something, i ignore it, pay for my coffee and then go back to my apartment.

i am back and i take a shower, i finished and then i get dressed and call my wife, because i havent seen her in the morning since she left early to work, but she didn't answerd, perhaps she was busy, so i brush it off and continue with my day, until i decide to check on the piece of paper; There is an address written on it, when i go to said address it looks like a bakery, the paper also had the words "look in the glass, and you'll find your next step" i asume it was the glass that keeps the cakes cold, and i was right, inside the box there was another, very similar looking, paper, so i decide to take it; They are starting to look like some type of clues. I have to work, so i go back to my apartment and leaving the "clues" a side for a moment, i was working on investigating a case about a murder that had happened two days ago when i finished looking througt files and information that i wrote, i decided to continue this weird "treasure hunting" the clues continued for a while, it appeares as if i got the last clue, and it leads me to a ominous looking forest, it gives me chills by just standing there, nobody is around, the trees around me have no life, their leafs had fallen, and it is cold. I stand, frozen, in shock, on my place, the views that present it self in front of me are terrifying, it is the most disturbing thing i have ever seen in my life, despite being a detective, it's my wife, dead on the floor, with a heart shape carved on her chest, with her wedding ring on it, i want to hug her, hold her on my arms, but i know that i have to be proffesional about it and not leave my finger prints on her, so i call the police and the ambulence.

I ran to the police station, just to find all of my co-workers screaming information that they receive from the phones as it usually happens, but this time a lot of dispair could be sensed, it wasn't just the normal stress that this work convoys.

-Mr. Garcia, what is happening?- i ask a co worker

-we have been receiving calls, at the same times, about murders, but it is weird because they all seem to come from the same person, but i don't understand how everybody found them the same day, something doesn't add up- He says, still confused about all of this

- Do we have any information of this person?- i felt a knot form on my throat

-This person wasn't careful, they left a lot of leads, but somehow they were sneaky enough for no one to find the bodies-

- Ok, i will go with Ms. Checa to get more information- i say and Mr. garcia nods his head in agreement

-Checa- i call her and she turns around- do you have any information about this sudden murders?-

- Yes, they are all somehow conected, see- She shows me a file with different people, with the same heart shape on the chest as my wife had- this murderer clearly has a type of "trade mark", and we have been doing some investigation in the victims we've found so far, and all of them were married, if you look closely, every victim has their wedding ring removed, and inside the heart, what could this mean?-

**************

-We Found our killer!-someone screams, we all run closer- it's a female, around 30 years of age, her name is Fairuza smith, we have already sent people to get her-

-I want to be the one to interrogate her- i say, everybody looks at me and agrees

Once they got her, we sat down on the interrogation room, while the rest of the team were behind the one-sided mirror.

-So, Fairuza, do you know why we have brought you here today?- She simply nods- Ok then, did you do it? the murders-

-Yes- she plainly answers

-why?- i ask shortly

-Because they all deserved it-

-How, how did they all deserve it?- i ask at the verge of tears, thinking about my deceased but i saty calm

-Because they were all cheaters-

-What do you mean?- i ask curious

-They were unloyal to their partners, they all were with someone else while married- she says

-How would you know that?- i ask her impatient

- Becuse they all cheated, with me-
