"C'mon Noen, we have to find the perfect gift for Chase." I said as I dragged Noen down the row of shops.
"What do we even get him?" Noen asked as we ran.
"Trust me, we'll know it when we see it." I said as I spotted the perfect place. "There!" I shouted as I pulled Noen towards the store.

"This one's from me and Noen." I told Chase as we all sat around the table. "Open it." I said happily as I handed him the box.
"Ok, ok, calm down." Chase laughed as he opened up the box. "Oh my god." He said excitedly. "They're so cute!" Chase pulled out two kittens. Everybody else joined in on the aww's.
"What are you gonna name them?" Noen asked and Chase thought about it.
"This one is Aero." He said holding up the first and then picked up the second. "And this is.." He paused and looked at me. "Artemis." Chase gave me a small smile and I returned it. I felt a small tear escape my eye and I wiped it away. Artemis was my mother's name. Chase handed Artemis to me and Aero to Kouvr as he opened up the rest of the presents. New shoes, a chain, shirts, etc. We all celebrated Chase's birthday and ate the icecream cake.

"You guys! Guess what!" Daisy yelled as she ran into the dining room.
"What?!" We all yelled, Daisy looked like she was gonna burst from happiness.
"My friend Anaya is coming to visit! I haven't seen her in ages." We clapped.
"That sounds awesome Daisy." Chase said.
"We can't wait to meet her." Thomas said and Daisy kept smiling.
"Thanks, you guys! She'll be here tomorrow."

We all waited in the main hall as Daisy went to get her friend. The door opened and the two girls walked in. Anaya has long black hair and dark brown eyes. She is really pretty.

Apparently the guys also thought so because Chase, Caleb, Nick, Wyatt and Ryland were all staring at her.
"Everyone meet Anaya, Anaya meet everyone." Daisy motioned to us. "This is Chase, Charli, Kouvr, Alex, Thomas, Caleb, Noen, Nick, Wyatt, Ryland and Aurora but we all call her Arie." We all waved at her, I saw her eyes pause on Noen and felt something boil in my stomach. I smiled at her nonetheless.
"It's so nice to meet you all, I've heard so much." She said, sounding nice but I sensed something under her tone. We all took turns introducing ourselves and showing her around the house. Most of the boys were already fawning over her.

Over the next two weeks Anaya wormed her way into the group, taking every chance she could to be with Noen and Chase, forcing me out. It was fine when I had work but when I was at the house she would always focus on pushing me away. I tried to be nice and become friends for Daisy's sake but Anaya made it clear to me that that was the furthest thing from what she wanted. The worst thing is that none of the others realised what was going on right in front of them. They were all too transfixed by Anaya. She always tried to be next to Noen and I could tell he felt uncomfortable but he never tried to stop her. It's like they're all hypnotized. Currently I'm the only one at the house but it's not like anyone noticed. I walked down the hallway when a door opened and Anaya walked out. She didn't notice me and walked right into me.
