Total Divas #2: The Bus Ride

The bus, right after last chapter

Caleb's POV

We all climb onto the bus, Gi and I get on there before Lex and I'm guessing that Ryan dude get on. The bus starts up and heads towards wherever the hell the boat is. The people on the bus are: Lexi and Ryan, Brie and Nikki, Gi and I (duh), Carmella, Lana and Rusev (I don't care what he goes by in AEW, he's still Rusev to me), Naomi and Jimmy, and a few other girls I don't know. Oh and Nia. Nia's here too. The bus was pretty dark. It's basically a club on wheels. It has drinks, space for people to dance, music (not anything good), and I think those are stripper poles in various places, places in the center of the bus. The Bellas, to no one's surprise, were the first to take advantage of the drinks in the back, popping the cork off a bottle of some kinda drink, handing glasses to everyone and sloppily pouring everyone drinks. When they got to me, I shook my head.

Nikki: You don't drink?

Me: Not that shit I don't.

I grab a shot glass of Jack Daniels and gulp it down in a second.

Nikki just nods her head before returning to the back where the party is. I continue to just sit down on one of the center facing seats. It's more like a bench that goes along the side of the bus. In the back, it forms something that looks like a booth or some shit before it continues back down the opposite wall.

Me: You can go party with your friends, babe.

Gi: I don't want you to be left alone.

Me: I don't want to be responsible for you being bored. Go have fun.

Gi kisses me passionately for a moment or two before standing up and joining the group. After a few minutes of semi-perfect solitude, I hear a feminine voice ordering a male to do something. I look up out of the corner of my eye to see Lexi pointing in my direction and talking to Ryan.

Lexi: Go talk to him, Ryan.

Ryan: Lexi I-

Lexi: I don't want to hear it. He can't do anything to you anyway.

I smirk to myself as I hear that last part. Right. Can't do anything 'cause we're on a bus. Whatever you say, Lex. I'm pulled out of my thoughts when Ryan walks over to me and stands still like a statue.

Me: You just gonna stand there or are ya gonna come shake my hand?

Ryan, nervously stepping up closer to me and reaching out his hand for me to shake: I'm Ryan.

I reach up and shake his hand before crossing my arms across my chest again.

Me: I'm Caleb. You're Mike's friend, ain't ya?

Ryan: Yes. Yes I am.

Me: You don't have to stand the whole time.

Ryan sits on the opposite side of the bus, facing me. I lean back a little before continuing our conversation. Suddenly my phone vibrates in my pocket. I pull it out and see two texts, one from Gi and the other from Lex.

Lexi: He's really nervous. Please be nice to him.

Gi: Play nice. Lex and I can see you from here.

I look up and to the right before I pull my glasses down a little and see Gi and Lexi doing a "I'm watching you" gesture with their hands. I chuckle a little to myself before pushing my glasses back up, shaking my head, and looking back at Ryan.

Me: Why're you so nervous?

Ryan: I've seen what you're capable of. Plus you're tall and intimidating to look at.
