Chapter 1

I walk into the double door to the Cassidy's hotel. Ian Jones is an older gentleman in his fifties greats me with a smile as he does everyday since the day I first stared when a two week before I found out I was pregnant with Payton and I was seventeen and now I'm twenty.
"Hey there Wynona where Payton today".
"Hey Ian she with her father I had the appointment to myself over the weekend she'll be here before my second shift stars".
"She such a sweet heart its always a treat to her"
I smile at Ian and nodded and hand my bag to him so he could put in under the front desk. I head over to the bar and grab my apron and tie around me grab and wet cloth then started putting chairs down and wiping off tables. After finishing wiping the tables and putting chairs down I walk over to the bar and pull the stools down and wipe the bar down.
Elena and Andrew came in shortly after I was done with the tables and bar they went around the bar and Elena put her apron on so did Andrew they stared setting up behind the bar.
     The sun starts to go down and people started to come in to the bar Elena and I went to each table getting drink orders wail Andrew takes the orders at the bar we served and took orders a people came in. Ian come into the bar and comes up to me.
"Wynona I have a request for your from Mr. Cassidy"
"What is it Ian"
" Mr. Cassidy request a whisky and to speak with you"
"Did he say why he's want to speak with me Ian " I say starting to get nervous.
"No mama he did"
"Alright well I'll get his whisky ready and be on my way in to his office"
     I go behind the bar and Mr. Cassidy  drink ready and grab and extra napkins then head out the bar and head to his office. I get on the elevator and head the top floor and waited. I get off the elevator and I'm about to walk pass the secretary to head to Mr. Cassidy office when she called out.
"Mis Rainstorm where are you going?"
She said kinda rude like I look at her name tag Saw the name Ruby.
" Ruby Mr. Cassidy called the front desk asking for a drink and to speak with me"
I said trying to be politely.
" Next time check her frost before you walk by"
She said rudely. 
I node with a smile.
She gets up and start to walk " follow me * Ruby walks to his off and opens the door I followed right inside. Ruby clothes the door and as soon I walk in.
I smile "Hi Mr. Cassidy here your drink sir"
He looks up  with his dark blue eyes and his black hair covering part of his eye.
"Set the drink on my desk Wynona" his voice is deep and serious.  I set the napkin down with his drink on top and the few extra napkins on the side.
"Sir I was told that you need to speak with me Um am I getting fired"
" Of course not your one of our best workers since you first started here I wanted to thank you for helping with Elena and teaching her the ropes for working here"
" your welcome sir"
My phone started to buzz and I ignore it. Mr. Cassidy stand up and walks me out of his office and back down to the first floor.
"Wynona I was think of updating the hotel" his office rumble.
"Yes sir is this anything I can do to help"
" Yes actually is there any ideas or any thing we can improve this hotel"
" No sir nothing I can think of but I can get back to your about it latter Mr. Cassidy"
My phone buzz again.
"I'm sorry Wynona did not mean to put you on the spot please get back to me on with your input"
My phone buzz over and over angina I look out old the comet of my eye and I see Payton next to Ian and her father on his phone mush be who's texting me.
My phone buzz over and over again.
" Are you going to answer your phone" Mr. Cassidy vice rumbled.
"No sir it can wait"
My phone buzz some more.
" Okay well I'm asking you to answer it because who ever it is it must be important "
" Yes sir "
I took the phone out of my pocket it's from my ex boyfriend aka Payton father Jack blowing up my phone.
" Mr. Cassidy I'm sorry to have to step away from our conversation but my daughter is here" i pointed to her at the front desk " and her father is inpatient and can't wait until we're don't talking sir"
" Wynona it's fine we can continue out conversation later"
" Thank you sir"
"Go on see your daughter "
I walk way and Payton saw me and start to run to me "mommy" she called out I pick her up and twirl around with her then kiss her forehead. I walk to her father with her in my arms.
" did you have fun with daddy pumpkin"
"Yes mommy fun"
She hug me and tap her finger on my back three times to let me know she didn't have the best time.
"Alright Pay you can tell me the big fun you two had latter " daddy and I have to talk right now" she walk a little ways but enough to where Ian and I can see her.
" what was so important Jack that you had to blow my phone up and not except that I'm busy you know you could have gotten my fired he own this hotel"
I look at him more piss off then what I was waiting for him to answer.
" This out kid and you need to take care of her too"
He made even more mad then what I already was"Really you want to go there"
" No work calls so I want be able to take her for a wail"
" you said this every damn time what is it this time you know what I don't even want to know either way your getting in trouble"
" I won't I promise" he said looking like he's on something and getting piss himself.
"I've heard it before I'm done and I'm tried I swear"
"You swear what"
" I swear if I found out your doing something stupid the your calling your "job" again there going to be issues"
"It's not"
"You know what... I'm done... you hurt her every time you do this when it goes south"
He gets even more mad and he goes to open his mouth and then close it over and over then he said " Fuck you bitch"
" GO NOW JUST GO" I yell
I watch him get piss off even more and walk about and drive away. I turn around and look for Pay.
"Ian where's Payton"
