SIN WALKS AMONGST US. Sitting at an alter with blood covered hands wasn't enough to rid a body of a blasphemous veins or chest clawing monsters. No prayer would save one who was born from the devil. The Murdock's lived in a Godless Hell's Kitchen, there was no saving that family. The Murdock children were living proof that the world was unkind. They were naturally born to fight in a cage with a howling pack of animals, raging and hungry. It was Annalise Murdock who hated her home in Hell's Kitchen. She hated how crime soaked her sight and how at night she feared she'd have to defend her and her older brother. The time where she were to do so never came, much to her delight. Annalise Murdock hated how her brother stopped talking to her after she finally left the city that had made such a dent on her life—he hated her, too. The world is bitter and sour even outside of Hell's Kitchen, but she hopes for something in the military. But of course, built for sin, born for sin. Nothing good can last.
Annalise Murdock is on a kill squad mission in Germany when she is sure the last thing she sees is her brothers face in her mind. Back in America, the television's play a memorial to a fallen squadron who died trying to wipe out a black market hotspot of super serum. Matt Murdock is sure that he will live in regret. But, unbeknownst to America, no one died on the mission. In Germany, the squadron is held under the super serum. It's six months later when the group suddenly reappears back at their base, then held under surveillance for another whole month. It's confirmed of what the squad had endured, though, not all of them make it through the healing process. It's only then when Matthew Murdock comes back into his sister's life. But, it isn't the same Annalise he had seen last.
Life begins to continue on. They are then known as the Daredevil and the super soldier. Her place is still in the military, assigned to a advanced kill squadron hunting down the people who had done this to her. Then, in 2018, half the world disappears, her with it. It's in 2023 when Annalise reappears. With a national crisis of reforming throws her back into work, it's then she meets Joaquín Torres, then Sam Wilson. Then Bucky Barnes. From what she knows, James Barnes is a lot like her, despite her never becoming an assassin. Sam Wilson recruits Annalise in the fight against the Flag Smashers, an anarchist group. For the first time since birth, Annalise feels this is the only good thing she has done. It only comes crashing down more when Annalise comes to the conclusion her brother is dead. This is supposed to be her new start. But, you know, nothing good lasts forever?
