Y/N POV:

It was a sunny, dewy morning. My husband was showering with our little boy, Richie Jr. I heard some chitter-chatter and laughter coming from the master bathroom. I smiled to myself. Ringo and our son were so much alike, he had Ringo's beautiful blue eyes and perfect smile. I grabbed my coffee, and headed up the stairs to go apply my makeup. I enter into the bathroom, hearing Richie Jr. laugh and sigh at something his father said. I start to apply my foundation before the mirror fogs. Minutes pass, I am now applying my eyeliner when my son asks "Daddy...Why is yours so much bigger?!?!?!". He yearns for an answer while Ringo lightly chuckles. Meanwhile, my eyeliner is no longer a line from my sudden burst of laughter.

Ringo says "Well buddy, I'm full grown! You'll get there eventually, no guarantees though!".

I just giggle at Ringo's remark. I exit the bathroom so they could dry off and get out of the shower before they became raisins. Soon after, I went down to the kitchen to make food for the boys.

Our family day lasted as long as we could make it, games were played, movies were watched and fun was had. I cherished this time with both of my favorite people. Because soon I know Ringo would be back in the studio, long days without seeing his son. It is tough on all of us, so when we get the chance we cherish it!

Later that Night:

Ringo and I brought Richie Jr. up to his bedroom. I helped the small boy into his pajamas while Ringo picked out a book to read aloud. I settled him in bed, he pulled the blankets up to his neck with a big grin on his face. Ringo started to read The Snowy Day . (Yes! It's an actual child's book from 1962! hehe) He read aloud the captions in a silly voice, that made Jr. laugh. The pictures made him very intrigued. But his eyes were heavy, seemingly soon enough he was fast asleep. Ringo closed the book and put it back. We gave him kisses on the cheek and settled his blankets.

Ringo stroked his cheek while whispering "Love ya, mate."

I smiled, walking off to our bedroom with Ringo following. We stripped our clothes down to undergarments, leaping into the big, smooth bed. I cuddled into Ringo's warm chest, looking up at him, I said, "So baby, you're a big man? You're quite confident, huh?".

I winked, he simply chuckled "Why yes, you should know luv."

That's when I felt something poking my thigh, I playfully hit Ringo's shoulder. Our lips connected and moved in a rhythm. Let's just say, he definitely proved that he's full grown... ;)
