"Alright! Everyone from the team last year has made it in! Same positions and numbers too! However, we do have 3 newbies joining us this year to replace the ones who moved away. That's Aki Nakamura, Akemi Sato and Fuji Watanabe."

The three cheered as the others who didn't make it just exited the gym. Oikawa smiled and shook the hands of the new ones, smiling as he noticed the awe and happiness in their eyes.

"Welcome! Aki, you are a substitute middle blocker, Akemi, a substitute wing spiker and Fuji you are another substitute wing spiker!" Oikawa smiled and flashed a peace sign before becoming more serious. "Now, practice will be everyday, starting tomorrow. I expect you all to show up. We have to be the best team possible. We don't have practice on Mondays, unfortunately, but the gym will be open if you want to practice more. I will be h- Ow! Iwa-chan! Mean!"

Iwaizumi hit him on his head - again. All the newbies sweat dropped while the older ones just continued eating popcorn that Hanamaki and Matsukawa had handed out. Oikawa grabbed some popcorn, minching on it furiously as he glared at his childhood best friend as said childhood best friend began speaking and took over his spotlight.

"As you most likely know, I'm Iwaizumi, the vice captain. And what this idiot was trying to say, was that no, he most likely will not be able for extra practices on Monday. Monday is a rest day."

Everyone nodded. Oikawa frowned before continuing with a smile.

"Anyway, now that all of that is over, welcome to the our little family! If you need anything, your senpais are here for you! I may be the captain, but I am a setter first and I cater for the team's needs! So don't worry about looking foolish! Alright, everyone's dismissed. I've kept you for long enough. Bye!"

The newbies left while the older ones stayed behind.

"So, we're third years now." Matsukawa hit Oikawa's back as he just gave him his famed smile - that just so happened to be fake.

"I guess we are. How will Karasuno react when they realize that we're all still here? Think about it, we all know each other well and will be a lot better. They also don't have their captain, vice captain and ace. Not to mention Shiratorzawa lost their stupid Ushiwaka and Guess Monster. They have to deal with new presences on court which means this time, we will make it to the Nationals."

"You're right captain." Yahaba said, a smile erupting on his face. The others also had similar expressions on their faces, including Mad Dog. Seeing the respect in Yahaba's eyes made him feel warm inside. But then he remembered something that put a frown on his face.

"However, I heard Nekoma and Fukurodani have the same situation as us. They are the two Tokyo schools that usually make it and Nekoma is Karasuno's 'famed rival' or something."

"Well, we'll just find out their weaknesses! I know you can do it captain!" Watari yelled, making Oikawa feel proud and happy. Kunimi just blinked, and for once, he wasn't even half asleep inside their gym outside of the practices he actually attends. Oikawa looked at his watch and jumped up.

"F*ck! I have people over!  I have to go! Bye! Meet me at the cafe after school on Friday!"

They nodded as Oikawa ran off. He changed, grabbed his stuff and headed off. He went to the modeling area and went to the house soon after.

"Yahoo~!" He greeted.

Four-eyes just looked over at him.

"Where were you?"

"I was at work. That's where I will be the whole day from now on, Megane-kun. But I suppose a brat who never works for anything such as yourself wouldn't know that."
