Kim Jaehwa was the only girl in her family. Her father had started a new business in Seoul and her mother had her own fashion designing company in Daegu, her birth place. Her parents decided to split their family.
The main reason of the separation was because her mother had just started her company, so she couldn't change the company location without a few years of experience. Kim Taehyung her brother who was a year older than her got transferred to Seoul with their father and Jaehwa started living with her mom.
These two siblings were split when Jaehwa was 9 and Taehyung was 10. They were inseparable but they were very understanding and decided not to go against their parent's decision.

Kim Jaehwa and Kim Taehyung had the same common sibling relation. They fought and argued with each other but at the same time always had each other's back.
Living so far apart from each other was something they could never imagine. They started growing up without each other's company. It was difficult for both of them but they knew that they will meet again in near future.

After Jaehwa turned 18, she was bullied in her school by a girl named Jessie Lee . She was half American and half Korean. She bullied her because she was jealous of Jaehwa. Jaehwa was a brilliant student as well as a nerd.
She had a nice body with curves but she never thought of sharpening those curves more. Boys used to swoon over Jaehwa but never asked her just because she was a bookworm. Jessie wanted all the attention towards herself.
