You slowly open your eyes, feeling groggy. You look over to your side to see Loona out cold. Shes looking down, with her phone just sitting out of her hand, still on. You glance at the time, and see its 4am. You hate waking up early. You look at Loona for a bit. She almost looks peaceful. You carefully get up, and silently walk over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water. You slowly open it, being careful not to make the bottle crinkle. Loona does seem to have decent hearing, and she is a hellhound afterall. You begin to pour the cold water into your mouth, feeling the cool liquid slide down your throat and into your stomach. You look over at Loona, who seems to have shifted slightly. Her fingers seem to twitch weakly. Feeling kind, you grab your blanket, and softly place it around Loona. You carefully grab her phone, and turn it off. You then sneak into her room, and plug in the charger, so she may have it when she wakes up. Hopefully she wont be mad that you moved her phone, but odds are she wont care among as you didnt snoop. You look out the window to see some demons below talking and buying things. Even then, there couldn't be more the 10 of them out there. You look down at your hands again, and look at the reddish lavender that is your skin now. If nobody was looking, and you had a hoodie on to cover your small horns, you could slip by most people who weren't avidly looking at you. At a quick glance, you could till pass as human.

You know, your not a child here. Blitzø doesnt own you, and your free to do whatever the hell you want. You decide to go out and walk around the street. You look over at Loona. Shes lightly snoring, and still seems to he out. You carefully approach the door and leave silently. You make your way down the appartment building, as you hear the floor creak. You think nothing of it, however, because you are not the only tenates here. You exit the building. For being in hell, it's almost chilly for some reason. Your thankful for your leather jacket. You begin to stroll around the street. You walk around for a while, just looking around. You see imps fighting other imps in the alleyway over some drugs, but that's none of your concern. You quietly hum to yourself, as you explore what's around. You see a cafe, a small park, and what looks like a brand new butchery. You see a few other appartment complexes around, but you begin to get bored. You make your way back, but a chill runs through your spine, as every muscle in your body tells you to run. You turn around to see a tall man with some sort of microphone walking in your general direction. You see the ones that were fighting over the drugs, ran away. The other demons seem visibly uncomfortable and worried. The tall man continues towards you, as you decide not to run away. The man hasn't even done anything. You continue to hum to yourself, and walk back to the appartment. The tall man speaks from beside you.

"Lovely day for a walk is it not?" He says in a charismatic tone. His voice almost seems to have a hint of static.

"Yeah, seems pretty nice." You reply. You feel some of your nerves calm. This man doesnt seem that threatening. You decide it's worth asking a question.

"Why is everyone afraid of you?" You ask, looking at some of the imps seemingly cower away.

"My name is Alastor, I am one of the Overlords around here." He says calmly.

"What does that mean?" You ask.

"It means I'm a bit high up in the hierarchy." He explains. "What is your name?" He asks back.

"I'm (Y/N). I'm a bit new here. Sorry for the questions." You apologize.

"Dont worry about it my good fellow. You are quite alright." He says.

You look over and see the apartment building to your left.

"Well, it was nice talking with you, Alastor. I should get back to my appartment." You say, calmly.

"Have a good day (Y/N)." He responds.

You open the door to the appartment building and give Alastor a wave. He nods his head, as you go into the elevator. You press your floor, and make your way back to the appartment. You carefully and quietly open the door to the apartment. You see the lights are still off, but Loona isn't there. You see her door is closed, so she likely just went into her room to go back to sleep. You silently close the door to the appartment, and plop down on the couch. Ever since the whole being dead thing, sleeping has felt a little wierd, and your whole sleep schedule is off. You decide to grab the book you purchased from the library, and begin reading. You read more about gunshot wounds, lacerations, and how to set a bone, if it gets broken and out of alignment. You feel yourself begin to get lost in the reading, as your mind soaks up the new information.
