Calmness
A very hard state to achieve
However worth the wait

Calmness
Such a
Nice
Bliss

Oblivious to all surroundings
Oblivious to the small distractions
Oblivious to almost anything and everything..
Almost

Suddenly the trees are nothing but blurry twigs
The neighborhood dogs turn into muffled winds

But that one
Little
Blue Jay

That always seems to say
Hello

My eyes follow the bird

And with a whoosh
He perches
Just perfect
On my window sill

I know he's looking at me
I know he knows
I'm aware

We just sit and stare at eachother
For what seemed like hours
Just waiting
To see
Who makes
The first move

But again with another whoosh
He disappeared into the blue sky
Finding another branch
Another being to stare at
Another place..

Just the Blue Jay himself
And he, once again
Is alone
