Calmness
A very hard state to achieve
However worth the waitCalmness
Such a
Nice
BlissOblivious to all surroundings
Oblivious to the small distractions
Oblivious to almost anything and everything..
AlmostSuddenly the trees are nothing but blurry twigs
The neighborhood dogs turn into muffled windsBut that one
Little
Blue JayThat always seems to say
HelloMy eyes follow the bird
And with a whoosh
He perches
Just perfect
On my window sillI know he's looking at me
I know he knows
I'm awareWe just sit and stare at eachother
For what seemed like hours
Just waiting
To see
Who makes
The first moveBut again with another whoosh
He disappeared into the blue sky
Finding another branch
Another being to stare at
Another place..Just the Blue Jay himself
And he, once again
Is alone143 words
