Jeongguk kept on making his advances

But alas, Minji kept pushing him away

Jeongguk wondered why. After all, it was obvious the girl liked Jeongguk back

The blushes, the secret smiles

Jeongguk noticed it all

That gave him motivation

But, Jeongguk really didn't know why

Jeongguk was trying but..

"Why do you keep pushing me away Minji? It's obvious that you like me back. So, why? Don't you know that this is hurting me as well? Rejecting my touches every time. I can only endure so much" Jeongguk pleaded, eyes watering

The sight caused Minji's heart to clench painfully

Knowing that she won't be able to reflect his love. 

"I can't give myself to you Jeongguk-ah. I face too many problems and there are too many factors hindering us. Yes, I love you too but, we can't be together. You'll only be hurt in the end" Minji painfully replied as she began walking away

But a hand grabbed her wrist

"Why? Please Minji-ah.. I want to know. It's alright if I get hurt, anything for you. So please.. please don't do this to yourself and let me in" Jeongguk begged

"I can't Jeongguk-ah.." replied Minji while trying to release Jeongguk's hold on her wrist

"No! Please tell me! I want to help you! Why can't you get that? please.. just let me help you Minji-ah" Jeongguk insisted, tears already falling down his handsome face

"I won't tell you Jeongguk-ah, I don't want to drag you in as well" Minji said while slowly removing the grip around her wrist

Jeongguk just watched her walk away
