Jeongguk felt his whole world crash
"Wha-What? She has a heart disease?" Jeongguk asked, feeling shock course through him
Is this why she can't be with me? Is this what she meant by me getting hurt? Why she kept pushing me away?
"Is this why she rejected me? What she meant by me only getting hurt?" Jeongguk asked sadly
"Yes.. She also told me that she'll reject you so that you won't get hurt" Seonhee confessed, also feeling sad for her friend
Jengguk was about to say something else but was interrupted by a voice
"Excuse me? Are you here for Choi Minji?" The surgeon asked
"Yes we are! How is she? What happened?" Seonhee asked as she rushed to where the surgeon was
"We've managed to stabilize her for now but unfortunately, her heart won't hold on for any longer. We have been trying to find a heart donor but, there has been none who could donate" The surgeon said
"No heart donor? Absolutely none?" Seonhee asked, surprised that not even one can be a donor
"I'm sorry ma'am. Unfortunately, without any donor, she has at most only two days to live"
"I'll be the donor"
