2. The magic starts.

They next day I woke up early and ate really fast. Then we went to the leaky cauldron and walked through it. My father tapped some bricks and the bricks started to form a entrance to Diagon alley. It was crowded and noisy. There were a lot of shops.

"So what do you need?" My father asked.

"I need three sets of plain work robes in black, a wand, protective gloves... here you have it"

"Okay, go to the ollivander shop for your wand and I will buy the rest." Father said

I walked towards the ollivander shop when the bell rang.

"Look who we have here! Another Green!" The wandmaker said.

He searched for a wand and gave it to me.

"Go on, give it a swish"

I gave a little swish with the wand when the ladder flew through the whole shop.

"Oh nonono this wand is not good for you" the wandmaker sighed. He searched further and grabbed an another wand. "Try this one"

He gave the wand to me and there came a little wind and a light from the wand. It was such a magical moment!

"It's a wand made of pear wood with an unicorn haircore 14" and suprisingly swishy flexability" he smiled.

I walked out of the shop and saw my dad with an owl and my mother with all the stuff I needed.

They left me off on king's crossed station and said I needed to go through the wall between platform 9 and 10. There were also an other family. They all had red hair. One was a girl but she didn't go with the others because she was too young. There was a woman and a man and twin brothers. And there was also a little boy who was going to hogswarts for the first time.

"Excuse me"a little boy said with round glasses and dark hair. "Do you maybe know how to... go to through..."

"Oh yeah, you can go with ron, he is going to hogwarts for the first time aswell" the woman said "Fred you go first"

One of the twins went into a run position and made a joke he was called George, apperently his other twin, and he ran through the wall. Than it was Ron and the other boy his turn. They both ran through the wall aswell. At last I was the only one left. I was scared to run through the wall. What if I failed and can't get through? I sighed and ran towards. I squeezed my eyes and ran through the wall. Now I was on platform 9 3/4. There was a large red train with "Hogwarts Express" on it. I walked into the train and decided to sit next to two boys.

"Do you mind if i'm going to sit here?

The boys stared at me and said that I could take a seat. We introduced ourselves. One boy called Seamus Finnigan and the other boy was called Dean Thomas. After chatting with eachother non-stop we arrived at the station. We went to Hogwarts over the Loch Shiel lake. Hogwarts was a beautiful castle. It was big, and magical. The boats made it extra magical. When we arrived we got an introduction from Professor Mc Gonagall.

"...there are four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin..."

After her introduction we got some time to talk, little did we know that the one and only Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts. We all were speechless. He was the boy who lived. Draco Malfoy judged Ron already and it really was annoying me. For the first time we walked into the great hall. It was really big but beautifull. The ceiling was enchanted. We got sorted into our houses. Seamus, Dean, Hermione, Harry and Ron got sorted in Gryffindor and Fred and George already were in Gryffindor. Malfoy ofcourse got sorted into Slytherin. I hoped to get sorted into Gryffindor since the people I met were in it.

"Y/n Green?" Professor Mc Gonagall said.

I was nervous since I had no idea in which house I will get sorted in.

"Right... right there. Very well. I see, very well, bravery... determination... really good, better be... GRYFFINDOR"

I was so happy when the sorted hat putted me into Gryffindor. The twins happily cheered at me and so were Ron, Harry, Hermione, Seamus, Dean and the rest of the Gryffindor table. This is where it all started.
