The Big 3

Chapter 2: After the Mission

After the mission was complete Alyssa and I met up with Vanessa, only to find her with a certain blue-haired class representative. I nudge Alyssa with my elbow and ask her to go check in with Aizawa, after all, he was paying us for being here.

"Canvas! Did we do a good job?" I butt into her and Iida's conversation. The look on her face gave me all the info I needed to know. I'm so fucked. I slowly walk away to Bakugo and his squad.

"Hey bakubro, you didn't tell us Serpent was going to be here?" Kirishima and I share a hug and I can see the slight jealous look in Bakugo's eyes. I walk over to him and kiss him on his cheek.

"Hey baby, I'm upset we haven't been able to hang out much! You need to drop by the apartment sometime, or do I have to kidnap you to come to visit me?" I fake a pout and he chuckles at me before blushing at the fact his friends saw that side of him.

We are sitting in the living room of the apartment we three share, Aizawa offered this set up so we wouldn't be homeless. It's a three-bedroom, modest flat close to his place. The living room has a large comfortable L-shaped couch that we all can fit on. Vanessa sits on a bean bag chair that has obviously been patched up multiple times. The wooden entertainment stand houses a Nintendo switch and ps4, both belong to Vanessa, but she tolerates us enough to let us play on them. There is a Wii that Alyssa and I share but the only games we have are Wii sports and every just dance made.

I let out an exhausted sigh as I lay my head on a pillow with a heating pad on my stomach, after all, I am cold-blooded. Alyssa sits at my feet doom scrolling through TikTok, and Vanessa is playing animal crossing. We hear a knock at the door and Vanessa goes to answer it. Aizawa stands there with a bag of chips in his hands, he hands them to Vanessa after coming in and taking his shoes off. He walks over to the couch and sits at my head, so I put my head in his lap and he runs his hands through my hair. Aizawa says he has something to tell us so we all turn our attention to him.

"Would you three be interested in joining the hero course at UA, and living in the dorms?" We all freeze up at the sudden questions, leave it to the teacher himself to be straight to the point. I make eye contact with Alyssa and Vanessa, the same look of shock and question in our eyes.

"Sorry daddy, I'll be home before midnight but right now it's for the boys." Vaness states with a blank stare, not looking up from her switch. Aizawa shakes his head a bit before getting up and making us promise that we would think about it. He leaves telling us that he knows we would make great heroes. All I can think is about how I won't be getting any sleep over this, that's great. I turn to go to my room and tell my friends a good night. I give them both hugs then walk to my room. I look over to the rock slab we have with silver heat resistant blankets and turn on my little heat lamp that hangs over my bed. I sigh, curling my body up and close my eyes. The faint sound of buzzing coming from the lamp lulling me to sleep.
