As Long as We're Together

Chapter 6

Percy P. O. V.

I woke up, and quietly moved out of the bed careful not to wake Annabeth.

I leaned down and kissed her forehead.

"I'll be back sweetie." I whispered.

I grabbed a pen, and uncapped it.

Thankfully it wasn't Riptide.

I wrote a little note for Annabeth, and with that I left the cabin.

Annabeth P. O. V.

I woke up in an empty bed.

Where was my Percy?!

He probably just went to the lake and will be back at any moment.

Then I saw the note.

It said;

Wise Girl,

I'll be back soon.
Sorry I can't tell you where I'm going.
Don't panic.

I clutched the note to my chest, and felt the sobs coming.

I willed the tears not to fall.

He said he would be back.

Percy never breaks a promise.

But, I was still overcome with emotions.

And I cried.

And cried.

And cried some more.

Until Piper bust in the cabin.

"Annabeth! Are you okay!" She cried running to cradle me in her arms.

I nodded, but the tears said otherwise.

The sobs racked my body as Piper held me close.

"Shhhhh. It's okay. Shhhh." She cooed.

I calmed down, and then the questions came.

Percy P. O. V.

"There is no 600th floor kid." The guy said.

I sighed.

"Just give me the key. I need to speak to Athena." I said the millionth time.

"Are you insane! What the hell are you taking about!" The guy screamed.

My patience was at level 0.

So I grabbed his shirt, and pulled him over the desk.

"In case you're wondering, I've been there before. Don't try to fool me. Gimme the key, and maybe someone won't get hurt." I threatened.

The guy nodded, and gave me the key.

I went into the elevator, and placed the key in.

This time the elevator was playing Hooked on a Feeling.

I sighed, and waited until my floor.

Piper P. O. V.

Annabeth sobbed into my shirt, and I just held my best friend.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Everything!" She screamed.

"Anything specific?" I chided.

"Can I tell you something no one knows?" She asked looking up at me.
