Chapter Two

Ultra Magnus knocked on Rodimus's door and waited. Everyone walked past him greeting him. "Rodimus you in there?" Magnus asked, leaning his audio receptor on the door. There was no sound coming from inside the room, just the alarm clock. Ultra Magnus scanned his badge and the door opened. He stepped up tot eh berth and saw no one. "Rodimus?" Magnus clicked his comm and heard nothing but static. "Scrap!" He ran out of the room and headed to the main room. "What's going on?" Roller asked. Ultra Magnus stopped to catch his breath, "Rodimus is gone!" The door opened and Magnus looked back to see, Cyclonus, Drift and some of the other good fighters. "So he did leave." Megatron said. Ultra Magnus sighed and turned to the group. "Yes but listen we need to get him back."

Drift looked at his sword and blew the dust off of it. "Lead the way Magnus." Megatron gave Magnus a deadly stare. "Ok let's go." The crew headed to the main door and opened it looking out into the scared world outside. The team transformed and headed off to see what they could find. "Let's split up and cover more ground." Drift said. Magnus hitched into the comms. "No. Separating will take too long. You'll get lost and then we'll have to look for you too." Ratchet rolled his optics and entered the call. "Drift knows every place inside and out. Let us split off." Magnus sighed and stopped making a U-turn to face the team. "Alright fine. Ratchet, Drift you guys go by the mountains. Cyclonus you go to the skies. Megatron you're going with me cause I don't trust you still." The grey mech huffed, "Ok..."

With the orders being given Drift and ratchet sped off and Cyclonus headed up over head. Magnus and Megatron took their time and tried to scan the place. "It's kinda hard when there's dead bodies everywhere." Magnus groaned and transformed when the reached the top of a hill. "Down there." Megatron looked down and saw energon heading into the woods. Magnus checked his scanners and raised his helm. "Rodimus is in there." The two transformer and headed to the entrance of the forest. Megatron stopped but Ultra Magnus kept going. "Wait Magnus that's the Dark Forest! You're gonna get killed!" The big blue mech ignored his friends words and transformed. He held his blaster firmly and looked around. "Rodimus!!" The forest was very awkwardly quiet. Ultra Magnus looked out to see more energon on the bushes. As he got closer and closer he saw rain clouds heading in. The storm looked like it was gonna get bad real quick. Ultra Magnus didn't stop just because of some rain. He pushed through the trees, bushes, and other obstacles. There was a groan that echoed through the rock and Ultra Magnus scanner the area. There was a heat sig coming from behind a bush. The blue mech moved the bush and saw Rodimus. The poor small mech was leaning on a rock holding his side that was gouged open.

"Rodimus." Magnus called. When Rodimus looked over he pushed off the rock and tried to run to Magnus. The big mech dropped his blaster and ran towards his small friend. Magnus caught Rodimus when he fell. "I'm sorry I shouldn't of left. Ima idiot." Magnus lifted Rodimus' helm up and looked upon him. "No you're not an idiot. I shouldn't have yelled at you." Thunder rolled through the sky and Rodimus cling onto Magnus as his wound started to hurt. Ultra Magnus lifted Rodimus up into his arms and headed out. "Megatron this is Magnus I've got Rodimus." There was a delay in the Comm unit because of the rain. "Hurry up get out of there that storm will drown you!!" Magnus looked up to see the lightning and started to run. Lighting struck a tree and Magnus watched it come down in flames. Megatron slid down the hill and flagged Magnus down. Ultra Magnus looked down at Rodimus and smiled. "What are you doing?" Ultra Magnus lifted Rodimus up and tossed him over the flaming tree and Megatron caught him. "Magnus! Come on!!" The grey mech yelled. Ultra Magnus looked through the flame and frowned. He transformed and that was the last they saw of him. Rodimus held onto Megatron and yelled and cried. Megatron walked back to the ship and called the other groups back. Drift and Ratchet helped Rodimus to medbay and get him patched up. "Where's Magnus?" Cyclonus asked. Megatron looked at the purple mech and noticed the energon all over his armor. "Magnus is finding another way out of the forest. He was cut off by a tree that fell into burning flames." Cyclonus wiped the energon off his armor and sighed. Megatron looked out to the forest and walked into the Lost Light and shut the doors as the wind started to pick up.

Rodimus groaned as he on-lined his optics. Drift looked down and called for Ratchet. The medic came over and looked down at Rodimus. "You are alright." Rodimus looked around and shot up, "Where's Ultra Magnus!!" Drift laid the captain down. "Easy. You were badly wounded and lost a lot of energon." Rodimus looked up to Drift and took a deep breath. "Where is Ultra Magnus." The doors opened and Megatron walked in. "Ultra Magnus is either lost or dead." Ratchet set his servos on his hip and stepped in front of him. "Rodimus is already hurt we don't need your words to drag him further down." As the two argued Rodimus held onto Drift and was very upset. "Please be ok." Rodimus begged.
