Chapter 2:

Time most definitely passes by quickly when having fun. Talking to Charles was great, he's lighthearted, has a sense of humor and I could carry on a conversation with him. I'm introverted in the sense that I don't like interacting with people I don't know, and talking to Charles was different. I didn't feel awkward, I knew I wasn't faking anything; he's a great guy to talk to. For the past couple of hours, it was nonstop talking between us to. He told me about his actual girlfriend everything from how they met to how often they go out, which is practically never. He told me about the complications of being in a band and balancing a girlfriend in between. I told him everything he wanted to know about me, like how great of a baker I am and I explained to him my musical abilities. We basically had a get - to - know - each - other - in - a - span - of - two - hours session.

When the concert began, I was surprised at how well they interact with their fans. Dolan and Louis were very into the performance, I guess they were saving their energy for the concert. After the show was done I couldn't hear things very well and I knew that my voice might've gone a bit hoarse. The moment Ryan and I got backstage, Ryan rushed everyone into giving me their phone numbers or at least their WhatsApp number. After waving everyone off I exited the stadium and somehow noticed my brother in the midst of girls loitering outside.

I ran to my brother and engulfed him in a hug. I buried my face in to his neck without thinking and took in the scent of his cologne. After a few years of not seeing him, the emotions really got to me and I could feel my throat closing in on me, and my eyes were getting watery. I knew if I said anything before composing myself I'll start crying, so I just breathed in his welcoming scent. The moment I calmed down I released my brother, and we walked to the car. I knew he was in town, but I didn't see him because he was out and about, leaving before I'd wake up, it felt as if he was never there. I know he'd visit us at home because I'll see his car drive away when I have the nerve to actually roll out of bed. Sometimes I'll know he was in my room because the door would be slightly open and something would have been displaced. most of the time he messes with either my hair or my pillow. The first few minutes of us sitting in the car was silent aside from the resonating sound of the song We Own It by 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa. The car came to a halt after the song conveniently ended and I noticed we were at a stop light, if we were home I would have thought that apparition and disapparition was real. I definitely would've asked for my letter to Hogwarts. But yes we were at a stop light and my brother asked the inevitable: "If you aren't a fan of them, then explain to me sister dearest, why you were at their concert?"

"Adam, it's not like I don't like them, I just don't listen to their music as often. I mean who wouldn't attend a concert if the ticket you got was free and you had great seats? Plus I-was-offered-a-job-and-I-accepted-it."

"Huh?"

"Uh, I was offered a job working for one of them and I accepted it?"

"Jade, why are you asking me? Tell me, do you have a job working for them?"

"Yes"

"What do they want you to do; I swear if they do the dirty with you, I'll castrate one of 'em!"

"Woah woah slow down tiger, I haven't told you what it is yet! Jesus it's nothing bad except that I have to pretend to date one. I haven't signed anything yet, I'll be signing everything tomorrow. I'll even read the fine print, I promise!"

The red light turned green again and we followed the asphalt to the 401.

"First off you're gonna have to text me everything that happens and don't make promises you won't keep okay Jadey?"
