Yukio's Point Of View-

It was a long endless relentless cold day, not unlike any other winter in Japan. Today just made Yukios skin crawl, the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. She knew she was being watched, the feeling was unnerving, she knew that same person plus twenty to thirty others were following her as she darted around corners left and right. She just couldn't shake them.

She stopped dead in her tracks within twenty feet of the wall, hiding just behind the dumpster, sure her shadow didnt bounce off, reflecting on the floor beside her. She held her breath, counting the seconds as footsteps echoed all around her. She felt them moving nearer and nearer. Could hear their breathing, see their shadows as they progressed.

'Find her, we need her. Then find the other one.' Yukio's heart speed up, her breathing out of control. They were going to find her sister, then use her to find Yukio. She couldn't let that happen. She had to find Mariko before them.

Yukio stood straight, realizing the mistake a little too late. In mid-thought, she hadn't realized that when she stood, her shadow extended past the dumpster into the alleyway. 'Found her.' A chill crept up her spine as two long arms wrapped around her waist yanking her from behind the dumpster down into the alley. Screaming, she reached behind her jamming her thumb into the captors eye, landing flat on her hands and knees as he dropped her. Yukio jumped to her feet grabbing the next guys arm flipping him over her shoulder into the next watching as they tumbled.

Yukio smirked, her fingers wrapping around the hilt of her sword, unsheating it. As she turned she came face to almost sword with another man clad in white. She did a couple back flips avoiding his duel blades as they whipped side to side in a sad attempt to hit her. She chuckled turning swiftly to the left, kicking the man in the side. He stumbled, easily catching his balance, but not before she made an attempt to run.

Yukio made it halfway down the next street before she was surrounded. A man clad in black stood before her with a woman dressed in red, the man in white from before made his grand reappearance behind her. 'We are not here to harm you Yukio.' Yukio scoffed settling into a stance pointing her sword at the woman.

'Dont lie to me, i dont know who you are, but leave me and Mariko alone. We've been through enough, dont your soldiers know when to give up.' The woman didn't answer only turned toward the man dressed in black questioning him. He didnt respond. Yukio swung with force, her blade colliding with the womans, she was so fueled by rage and worry for her sister, she hadnt heard the other creep up behind her. Only felt the subtle sting of the needle in her neck. Her body felt heavy, she sagged against the man in black, her eyes fluttering closed. The last thing she heard before complete blackness was the clang of her sword as it hit the ground.

~I'm sorry Mariko, Forgive me.~

'When will she be fully awake?' A new voice pulled her from her forced slumber. Groaning she turned her head to the side, squeezing her hands into tight fists. She went to move her hand across her face to remove the hair that went astray, she found she couldn't. Her arms were pinned down, her legs as well. Panic coursed through her veins. Her breating became eractic. She felt caged, trapped. Like a circus animal.

'Where am i?' Yukio called out desperately trying to free her limbs to no avail. She suddenly felt a cool palm press against her cheek almost lovingly. She shuddered turning her head to the side, opening her eyes once they adjusted to the sudden brightness. The same people from yesterday all stared back at her with some new she couldnt recall meeting.

'Your safe Yukio, im sorry we had to force you to come with us like that but we had no choice. You forced us. We were not there to hurt you.' Yukio growled low in her throat, trying to yank herself free once more.

'I forced you, you drugged me. I dont know you. My master never told me of any job concerning your clan. Let me go," a sudden thought popped in her head and she almost hit herself for not remembering, 'wheres my sister? Wheres Mariko?" Her eyes scanned the room. There were at least five people in the room, the same three from the night before, and two new men. One dressed in army wear, one in robes. Panic surged through her veins at the thought of something happening to Mariko and her not being able to reach her in time.

'Our people haven't found her yet but we need her here. We need you both here.' Yukio glared at them, wildly trapping to free herself. Screaming in frustration, she fell back against the metal bed, cursing as he her head throbbed with new pain. She smiled at the thought, they haven't found her yet. Keep running Mariko. Keep running. 'Yukio, please listen to us, youll understand once we explain.' She turned to them, a newly burning hatred in her eyes.

'Explain what? That you drugged and kidnapped me.' She bit out, each word dripping with venom. The man in black held his arm in front of the white clad man stopping him from moving toward the young girl, instead nearing toward her himself. He placed both palms up in surrender as he approached her, even thought he knew she could do nothing to stop him. He did so as if to show her, he meant no harm.

She glared at him as he sat beside her on the metal bed. Placing both hands in his lap, he spoke;

'Yukio, you have been missing from the Joe base for over twenty years. You must try to understand we have tried everything to find you, we hunted for the men who took you and Mariko everyday of our lives, we tried to explain to you yesterday but you would not listen...' Yukio held up a finger stopping his rant,

'Stop stop stop, i dont follow. Why have you been searching for me? What do you mean ive been missing, i dont even know you people. And what is the joe base? What are you talking about?' He glanced back at the others, swallowing stiffly before placing both palms on her shoulders,

'You are....my daughter.....Yukio...you are my daughter. Thats why ive been searching for you. The Joe base was supposed to be your home, you do know us its just been so long you cannot recall us. You must believe me. I wouldnt lie about this.' Yukio stared at him, her mouth falling open, her limbs limp beside her. She felt time around her freeze as the words, "you are my daughter" echoed in her head.

'I dont even know you, how could i believe you?' The man turned to the others, switching his gaze back toward her a moment later.

'The woman is Jinx, she is my cousin as well as Tommy's,' he pointed to the man clad in white, 'this is general hawk,' he motioned to man dressed in military garb, 'i am Snake. We never meant to have you taken from us, we never meant to harm you, we only wanted you home.' He almost pleaded, though she couldnt tell from the mask sn...her father was wearing.

She yanked on her restraints again, sudden anger filling her veins as she remembered the restraints, treating her like a caged animal, 'Sonogo, watashi o kaihō shite kure ofu korera no imaimashī seiyaku o eru.' She bit out. The man sighed reaching over her, undoing the restraints slowly one by one as to not startle her. He stepped back as soon as he finished, allowing her to stand but not move around. 'Why did you even find me now? Why would you even care? Its been twenty years.' The man came closer pulling her against him, one hand holding the back of her head, one arm wrapped around her waist, her face comfortably nestled into the crook of his neck.

'Because i love you, every day i looked for you, even when i was deployed on missions, i departed from the group and searched for you. I thought about you everyday, when i would see you again and hold you close. Im sorry Yukio.' Yukio sighed wrapping her arms around the others waist, snuggling deeper into his chest, allowing the warmth of her father to embrace her.
