Part 10

Your heart was racing.  You didn't know what to say.

"Um what's going on" you ask.

"I know the truth about Lily...I've known for a while now" he said looking down.

You breathing went back to normal after he said that. Because at least you knew it wasn't him that night at the bottom of your bed.

"I know how she hurt you and how she manipulated me....she actually put a love potion on me to make me love her and forget everything you said" he continues on

Wait she gave him a love potion.  Why did she do that there was no need. He did love her.  He never stopped talking about her.  The fact that she had to use a potion and the fact that he said he loved someone else didn't sit right with you.  Especially sense he was your friend and you didn't know.

"Oh" is all you say.

"Are we still ok...are we still friends" he asks.

"Of course why wouldn't we be" You say

"Well I just thought you would hate me after what happened cuz I never helped you."

"That's in the past it's fine" you say.

The two of you walk back down to the others.  You sit on the couch in between Peter and Sirius.  James on the floor in front of Peter and Remus on the floor in front of Sirius.  You started to get tired to you rested your head on Sirius's shoulder.  Until he got up to use the bathroom so you rest you head on Peters shoulder.  He immediately puts his arm around you and puts a blanket on you knowing your tired.  This catches the attention of James and he looks weirdly at the two of you.  He knows that you guys were close friends but he didn't want to think of you guys as a couple.

"I think I'm gonna take y/n up to the room" Peter says to the other 4 boys.

"Why" says James not wanting to leave you two.

He points at you for everyone to see your asleep.

"Oh ok" he says.

"I'll see you guys when you come up." He picks you up bridal style and takes you up.  James and Remus both sit on the couch.

"Oh I see" says Remus.

"What" says James turning away from you and Peter.

"Nothing, nothing" he says.

"No what do you mean Moony" James says kinda demanding.

"It's just-" before he could say anything Sirius comes in.

"You fancy y/n"

"What no I don't" James says almost immediately.

"So that's why you were looking at Peter being cuddly with her.  That's why your jealous of it.  You want to be in Peters situation. You want to be able to hold onto y/n just like how Peter is" Remus says giggling.

"What no! Not at all!" James says jumping up quickly.

"Yeah who would want to be in Peters situation I mean he will be close to her but it's not like she'll ever date him.  If your to close of a friend that's all you are.  So she will be nice and cuddly but won't even date you" Sirius says looking into the fire.

"Whatever I'm going to bed" James says.

He walks up the stairs and over to the dorm.  He starts to hear noises from inside the room and quickly opens the door.  He sees Peter sitting at the edge of your bed while you toss and turn. 

"Shh please be quiet and go get a bowl of cold water and a rag" Peter says quickly to James.

James not knowing what's happening quickly does it and ends up on the other side of your bed.

"What's going on" he asks.

"Nightmare, happens a lot, I know what to do.  If your here to go to bed I suggest you go to bed now and just forget about this" peter says.

"Why"

"Cuz you don't get much sleep trying to help y/n" Peter says looking up at James.

James sits down in the bed and after about 20 minutes Remus and Sirius come up to the room looking quite messy too.  The other boys tend to ignore it. 

"What's going on" says Sirius.

"Nightmare" James and Peter say at the same time.

"And your not waking her up" says Remus pushing past them.

"She doesn't need to be woken up" says Peter.

Remus looks down at you and what your state looks like.

"No she doesn't need to be woken up but she needs to go to the hospital wing" he says picking you up.

"What why" says Peter.

"Cuz she's hardly breathing" he says and continues out the door with s
sirius not far behind him.

James and Peter share a worried face and immediately run to catch up with the other two.
