Chanelle's POV:
This is so awkward, I didn't think we were going to get coffee TODAY.
" Hey, Chanelle."
" what's up?"
"What part of The U.S are you from?"
" I'm from Chicago, Illinois."
" what's your family like?"
I chuckled at him, " so many personal questions."
" alright alright, So you know Stacy right?", he said with a shy voice.
" Yeah, I know her. She seems......nice? I don't know I got a bad feeling about her." I said, taking a sip of my drink,
"I like her, I think I'm gonna ask her out actually." He said excitedly,
" Go for it," I said with the fakest smile,
" So have you met anyone else here?", looking at his phone, swiping through Stacey's social media.
" Not really, I haven't ever been good with talking to people," I said awkwardly in my seat. I wanted to leave already.
" Any guys?" he said with a brow up, and a teasing smile, and voice. Sipping his coffee and writing stuff down in his notebook.
" Not really, haha. I'm terrible with guys." I wanted to just die at that moment from how personal these questions were. They felt like daggers to my pride and self-esteem.
" well, I'll set u up on some blind dates... if you want?" Lucas sat there, scrolling through his contacts. writing down names.
" Sure." WHAT?! WHY AM I SAYING SURE? THIS DUDE. From the corner of my eye, I saw a group of people coming over to the table where I and Lucas were sitting at.
" Hey Lucas, it's not like you to have a girlfriend." I heard a voice behind me, it was deep. I felt shivers down my spine.
Who was this guy? I looked up to see this tall blonde. He had these radiant dark green eyes. His hair messy and curly, he was wearing a black turtle neck, with a black coat.
" Ah Hello, who may you be?" He said, sitting next to me. Leaning a bit towards me. Making me feel all flustered.
" Ah, Bonjour. My name is Chanelle." I said, my voice shaky. This man had a whole group of women huddled behind him. All of them swooning over him.
" Ah- Chanelle. What a beautiful name, I think it means outgoing. Correct?" He said with an Interested look on his face, " Well I'm Loui." He got on one knee and kissed my hand. I blushed, while all the girls behind him gave me the dirtiest looks.
"It's pretty ironic though, she's not that outgoing," Lucas said, with a whole different tone. His sweet voice was gone, and I saw a side of him that I haven't ever seen.
" Anyways Lucas, I'm having a party tonight. Maybe take Chanelle with you?" He said with the hugest smile, hoping Lucas would say yes.
" I'll think about it, might take Stacey." He said looking down at his phone, looking uninterested. I sat there confused as to why he was acting so cold.
" See you later, Chanelle." He got up putting his
stuff away, into his leather backpack. The clips snapping together, intensifying the moment. He looked angry. Bumping his shoulder into Loui's, while Loui chuckled." That's Lucas alright, it's okay I know he still loves me." Loui sat where Lucas was sitting, " So Chanelle, what are you studying anyway?"
" I'm studying architecture," I said, looking down at my notebook. Drawing a design, I want to get a tattoo. I'm finally allowed to do whatever to myself now, so why not start with a tattoo. " I'm planning to get a tattoo." I slide the notebook towards him, " choose what suits me best."
