The alarm that was set at 7am failed to wake Soojin up . She is still taking her sleeping beauty - luckily the light came streaming in making her flinched a bit , she glanced to the clock and it was already 9am .

" Shit ! I'm late for work " She didn't hesitate to get up from her comfy bed as she took a big steps forward .

Amidst her rush to the bathroom , she accidentally slipped of her scattered clothes from last night , forcing her to the floor in pain .

" Its gonna be an awful day as well "

" This is your fifth time coming late to work " a familiar voice greeted Soojin as soon as she sit at her desk .

" I slept late because I was monitoring the CCTV footage that you gave me " Soojin rolled her eyes before placing the lanyard over her neck .

" It seems like prosecutor Soojin really work hard to close this case huh " Mark said teasingly .

" This case keep seeing a dead end since two years ago- so yeah I'm determine to solve it " She said while flipping through the paperwork .

" Are you sure you can handle this case alone ? " Mark asked out of curiosity .

When Soojin was about to answer , someone cut her off .

" There's another murder reported in 127 City " the head of prosecutor , Kim Jieun spoke up .
" The same handkerchief was found " She added .

" I'll go there to find more proof " Soojin took her phone and notes before excusing herself .

" I'm going with her " Mark said to Jieun as he followed Soojin steps .

127 CITY

" Kun , have you found anything other than the handkerchief ? " She asked to Kun , a police that's also in charge for the case .

" Nothing- but we believe the murderer is the same person " His statement received a nod from Soojin .

" Are you the one who's handling this case ? " Kun glanced at Soojin before carefully jotted down something on his note .

" Yeah , I've been handling this case for a while now- but still haven't find any solid proof " She expressed in disappointment . Her eyes fell down to the body that still on the ground .

The same second , Mark came as he approached Soojin .

" I went around this neighbourhood just now "
" I saw a big mansion and there were some weird guys at the yard- maybe we should ask them " He added , still keeping his voice as low as he can .

" Lets go " She said confidently .

They both walked until the end of the road , a big yet gloomy mansion showed up . Soojin looked at Mark for a moment before she took a step towards the mansion gate .

Soojin nervously press the doorbell several times . Mark was in awe by how big the mansion after he took a closer look . They didn't wait for a long time until a guy showed up not too far from them .

" Who are you ? " The guy directly asked , giving a death glare to both of them .

" Kang Soojin from Prosecutor Department . May I speak to the owner of this house ? " Soojin hold up her badge professionally .

" Fuck , boss gonna kill me for this " The guy muttered .

" Why ? " He eyed up Soojin with one hand inside his pocket .

" I just want to ask few question regarding a murder incident that happen near the resident "

" They're not at ho- "

" Jeno , who's here ? " Someone yelled out , gaining attention from Soojin and Mark .

Jeno gritted his teeth in annoyance . Knowing he'll get into  trouble if he allow a prosecutor to their house .

" I have to go , don't come here again "

Jeno quickly move to close the gate but Soojin get to stop him from closing it .

" Please give cooperation . We won't be long- unless you are trying to hide something from us " Soojin stared at Jeno with a serious expression .

" C-come in " He hesitated .

" Pretty nice house huh " Mark exclaimed as they followed Jeno steps to the living room .

Soojin and Mark take a sit in front of Jeno . The house was quiet making both of them assumed Jeno only lived with his family .

" Full name ? " Soojin started .
" Lee Jeno "
" Do you live with your family here ? "

Jeno suddenly get up . " If you ask a lot of things , just get out from here "

" Lee Jeno , did you fucking let stranger in again ? " The same voice from earlier interrupted .

Another guy came in with a cocky look as his hand was busy buttoning his shirts button . He stared at Soojin for some second before giving Jeno a death glare .

" Who the fuck are these people ? " Soojin looked at him in disbelief despite of his rude attitude .

Mark was about to speak but Soojin cut him off .

" Kang Soojin from Prosecutor Department- I'm here to ask some question " She said , introducing herself for the second time today .

" Answer my question and I'll not come- " " Get lost before I break your damn bones "
