The copper guy- I couldn't be bothered to ask his name- sat down in the large plush chairs of the meeting room with a huff. "This is ridiculous," he grumbled, "I'm not hallucinating right now, right?"
Iron Man (funny, right?) pushed up his glasses and gave our whole group a displeased look. "Not a hallucination, but I wish it was. Hold even old are you?" He glanced at me in a way that made me feel like he saw something disgusting, and it hurt. "Why does your face look like that? I'm almost eighteen!" I shot back. Tony Stark chucked. "A child like you is supposed to fight in a war? What a joke." "Hey! You're not much older than me! And did you hear? I'm useless. I won't be fighting anyway even if I wanted to." I plopped down in another chair. Not think about my family was the only thing on my mind right now. I just had to keep talking, listening, anything. We're they worried? How much time had passed back home?
"Everyone calm down. We won't make any progress if all you three do is argue." Silver boy rolled his eyes. I was getting tired of calling him that anyway..."Hey, what are your names?"
The boy with the copper colored hair laughed, a wide smile on his face. As he spoke, I noticed his square jawline and sturdy features. "I can't believe I almost forgot, I'm Jared, and the asshole over here is my friend Louis." He stuck out a finger and pointed at the man with the dark hair and glasses and his angular face.
"You guys are friends?" I tilted my head. "I thought they would just summon random people."
"I'm Andrew, and no, there's a pattern." Silver boy held his chin like he was thinking. His very handsome chin, I may add. "Do you guys have any other connections in your world than yourselves?" He looked at the two men who were currently bickering with each other.
"Huh? Connections?" Jared looked puzzled. "Now that I think about it, I only really talk and hang out with this guy. Our families are pretty distant too. Haven't seen mine in years."
Silver boy—right, Andrew nodded. "It's as I thought. They summoned people who no one would notice were gone. It must have been intentional." I thought to bring up my family, who definitely would notice- but I stayed silent, as I didn't think they liked me now, and definitely wouldn't have liked to hear some teenager's complaints.
"And you?" "Hm-?" I jolted out of my thoughts to see the guys all looking at me. "Your name." Louis groaned and stuck out his hand to gesture me to talk as if I were a child. "Oh! Right, sorry. It's Lilly. It's good to meet all of you." I swear I saw them roll their eyes.

"Are you sure we even need her?" Louis spoke in a hushed tone to the advisor. "His Majesty says that all four of you need to be present, even the ones...like her." He sighed at the thought.
"Well, I can only hope she doesn't do anything stupid. Give the kid work here so she doesn't get in our way. We don't need a hindrance."
