Chapter 12

Lesley woke up to see Gusion sleeping peacefully on her stomach
"Gus wake up." She said.
"Mm..." He hummed in response and kept sleeping.
Lesley got annoyed and hit his head.
"Hey?! What was that for?!" Gusion yelled while rubbing the side of his head.
"I asked you to wake up and you lie there!"
"Well it isn't my fault I'm so sleepy.."
"Aish... I'm leaving you now..." Lesley said as she put a jacket on.
"Hey!! Wait!!" Lesley heard Gusion yell.
She chuckled and went to the bonfire where the others were cooking breakfast.
"Hey Les!" Fanny waved.
"Hello Lesley." Tigreal nodded at her.
"Hey guys... Did you sleep well last night?" She asked them.
"Yup!"
"Mhm..."
"Not really..." Granger replied.
"Wait what why?" She looked at Granger.
"Oh because someone was snoring way too loud for me to fall asleep." Granger glared at Alucard who chuckled.
"Well, it's not my fault I snore so loud."
"I asked you can you keep it down and you said sure but, snored even louder!"
"Well I'm sorry I can't stop myself from snoring!"
"Will you two stop fighting?" Tigreal yelled.
"Yeah, we're still near the abyss so we must stay quiet or else they'll attack us and capture us." Fanny whispered.
Lesley nodded and spooned some porridge out of the pot.
"Let's eat?" Lesley asked.
"Ok!" All of them yelled so loudly Lesley had to cover her ears.
I wonder how Dyrroth is in the abyss.... Lesley thought as she sat down to eat.

In the abyss....
"Where is she?!" Dyrroth yelled at the guards who were supposed to watch her room.
"W-we don't know...."
"Tsk your useless." Dyrroth said as he killed them.
"Dyrroth? What's up? Why did you kill them hm?" Alice asked.
"They weren't watching Lesley."
"Ah... But you do know Lesley has the power to turn invisible right? So even if the guards were watching her she could just disappear and wouldn't be noticed."
"What?! Ugh... Then it's gonna take awhile before she will be found." Dyrroth groaned and punched the wall.
"Now now Dyrroth we all know where she's gonna go."
"Moniyan Empire.... Castle Atlas...." Dyrroth muttered.
"Yes. We shall prepare an attack. That is if you want that."
"In a month let's attack." Dyrroth grinned.
"I want her to think I don't want her anymore..." He added.
"Ok..."
Dyrroth went into Lesley's abyssal room and looked at the bed where he last saw her.
"Hmm.... I'll see you soon my beautiful bride..."

With the Moniyans...
Lesley P.O.V.
"You ok Les?" Fanny asked me.
I staring at the direction that led to the abyss.
"Hm... I'm just thinking if they are planning to attack us..." I said.
"Don't worry if they do we can always escape." Fanny said as she sharpened her blades.
"Yeah..." I murmured as I touch my rifle making me remember my father...
Don't think about that Lesley. No crying in front of one of the best Moniyan warriors! She fought back the tears.
"Are you sure your ok?" Fanny asked.
"Yeah, let's go back now." I stood up.
"Ok." Fanny said.
"Oh there you guys are where have you been?" Gusion asked.
"Oh we were on the cliff talking." Fanny explained.
"Ok?" Gusion said.
"Might as well get going." Tigreal announced.
I nod.
"Lets go then..." Granger said as he went beside me and held my hand.
I blush and kept my head down so that he wouldn't see me blushing.
Good for you cuz you have a cone on your head which means you could hide anything... I thought to myself.

Will they make it to the Moniyan Empire without danger striking?
Or will they experience the wrath of the abyss?
