"BEEP BEEP BEEP" I hear my alarm wishing I could throw it out the window.My name is Roxy and people say im a "mistake,waste,bad example or just a troublemaker".which is tecnically true but the only reason im this way is because my parent or I like to call them "the bullys at home" started to drink when I was 7 and like other children your supposed to follow your parents example but my parents lessons were "always drink,get high with paper bags and gasoline,always dont follow rules" so I kinda started to follow my parents and do what they did. So now im a tomboy 14 year old who smokes and always come home at whatever time.but sometimes my parents aren't always so layed back,it usually depends on how many drinks they have had if they had alot then they really dont care but when they have a scarcity of alcohol or drugs they seem to tense up and mock every move I make and sometimes abuse me but I power through it.so now im about to go to school to hopefully still get up on my feet and make a good future but sometimes I tend to get out of control anx unstable but I control myself. As I head out the door I see mom and dad asleep on the floor surrounded by bottles and paper bags and realize that mom and dad must have drank while I was asleep. They are always unconscious when this happens so I just step on them to get my granola bar and they are just laying there like road kill.I leave tbe housd with the doors locked anx curtains closed because I did not anybody to see my parents laying on the floor half dead.as I walk to school I did not know that this was the last time I was gonna my parents for a long time and personally It sounded like paradise to me
