Arson stood by the edge of a lake, her black cloak billowing behind her in a breath of wind. Her white hair stayed in place due to many pins and the silver crown atop her head. It was cold but pleasant.

Her eyes stayed stationary on a single spot on the water. Her muscles never twitching. She held her self with poise. She didn't need the crown to show you who she was. Her grace commanded respect and awe. Her beauty was blinding as well. She was garnished in white hair and skin as pale and death. Her only color came from her brilliant sapphire eyes.

She blinked slowly, the only sign of life in her form. He was making her wait. She knew it. He was to arrogant to let this be a small meet, he had to make it a power struggle too.

"I know your here." She spoke softly, trusting the wind to carry her message. She heard the crake of a branch and spun instantly, drawing something from within the folds of her white dress.

"Ever beautiful Arson." He spoke smoothly.

"Ever arrogant Ash." But she let a smile touch her. He smiled back and she let out a small laugh. "Long time no see."

"Kingdoms to rule, damsels to save, same old same old."

"Gods you haven't ages a day." She reached out and touched his cheek with her gloved hand. He flinched away. Her stomach sunk.

"You had anather reason to call me here then to catch up." He was icy again.

She had to catch herself from feeling hurt. He was always like this, she had just forgotten. "We are threatened, a new power from the east is rising. I feel it in my soul."

He laughed lightly. "Darling, I think your forgetting that you lost your soul long ago."

She blanched but stayed still. "There is still the warning signs."

"So your asking me to save your kingdoms." it was less of a question and more of a statement.

"I believe that you are forgetting that you owe me."

"Yes yes that is regrettable."

"Yet I have suffered the greater loss." She told him.

He softened for a moment before regaining his cocky attitude. "I will help so long as we both shall live, gods know that is a long time." she smiled at him.

"Then what shall we do?"

"I guess we should assemble an army." he smiled cooly.
