You two were only children - you 11, him 10. You grew up together.

"Feifei!" (Y/N) ran over to the younger. They knelt down in beside him. He looked up at them, holding something.

"[Y/N], look." He was cradling a small child, who looked about 6. "Mine." He muttered, as if the child was a cat.

(Y/N) smiled. "Feifei, you can't adopt every child you see, you're a kid too..."

Feitan frowned. "Why? Can help everyone. Not fair if won't help her!" He set the child down and crossed his arms. "Help her? Pwease?" [Y/N] sighed. They didn't like seeing Feitan upset, and his pleading face was so adorable they couldn't help but agree.

"Fine.."

Gon:

You two were friends before you left Whale Island. Both of you are 10.

Gon looked at (Y/N) as they explained where they were going. The green-haired one looked upset. "Why do you have to go!? We promised we would go to the hunter exam at the same time!" 

(Y/N) sighed, looking down. "I'm sorry, Freeces-sama, but I need to do this." Gon put his hands over (Y/N)'s for a moment. "I'll see you again, right?" They looked at Gon and smiled, pulling a hand away and making a fist, holding out their pinky. Gon linked his with theirs as (Y/N) softy spoke. It was a song lyric, but there was emotion in their words.

"You know, you know, I'll see you again."

Killua:

You met him on the playground. You are both 6.

(Y/N) ran across the playground aimlessly, picking up wood chips and throwing them behind them. They were minding their own.

"Ow! Hey, watch it!"

(Y/N) had knocked a white-haired boy into the mulch. They stepped back. "Ah! Sorry! Are you okay?"

The boy stood. "Yeah.. I'm fine. Just watch where you're going next time, Baka."

(Y/N) Nodded. "Okay! Oh yeah, I'm [Y/N][L/N]. What're your name?"

"...Killua Zoldyck. Anyway, I've to go. Peace!" The boy, Killua, turned and sprinted away, leaving a confused (Y/N).
