Lauren walked through the empty store, Family christmas was in a week, and actual Christmas was in three. The whole Jauregui family have always had a Jauregui Christmas two weeks before, where there was a Secret Santa.
Lauren's mom, Clara, had been nagging her constantly about when she would bring a special person home, and everytime Lauren would say..
"Yeah mom I know I'll probablyjust bring Normani again"
Normani was Lauren's best friend. She had been since 5th grade and came to almost every one of the Jauregui Christmas'.
But this year was different, Clara insisted she bring someone new or she would set her up with the neighbor boy, Brad.
Lauren, currently, was walking through the aisles of Target trying to find a christmas gift for her sister, Taylor who was her secret Santa.
She was looking for some sort of makeup, or something goofy. She was jokingly gonna give her socks but realized thatd be rude so she stuck with makeup.
"Need help?" A voice said.
Lauren jumped, and spun around, "um yeah! I'm looking for the makeup aisle."
Lauren took the girl in, her hair was up in a bun but she could tell it was curly. She had glasses and a sharp jawline with deep chocolate brown eyes.
Absolutely stunning.
Lauren read her name tag.
KARLA.
"Well if you want good makeup, I'd recommend buying something brand-named and not some trashy shi- crap. But its aisle 27."
Lauren nodded and spun around walking to the aisle. ________ ________
Two days later, and still no date. Currently Lauren was sitting alone in a restaurant, staring at her phone.
