"Where are the double A batteries?" I asked myself as i scaned the shelf of the grocery store.
We only had one day left to get ready for the maze and I had forgotten to get batteries.
Once I retreived the batteries , I ran to the cashier and shoved my debit card in his hand.
"I am gonna be soooo late!" I whispered to myself. Thr cashier shot me a weird look.
"Im not crazy" i siad to him. Apparently I yelled it, because when I turned around everyone in the store was staring at me.
I was super stressed.
Once the cashier finished , I ran out of the store and got on my bike.
I pedaled as I could down the street as fast as I could, ignoring the cars that could potentaillt hit me.
"Im ssssooooo late" I siad to myself when I reached the house.
Everyones cars where parked along the street.
I ran inside as fast as I could.
I then burst through the door to tamaras room where the meeting was taking place.
Everyone is staring at me in surprise.
Adrika is the first to look away. She then continues presenting.
"... Then Tamara will go down the right tunnel with Alec..." she continued telling us the plan for another hour.
We all slept in tamaras room so that we could leave early the next morning.
"Lets Go!" Miles siad once we were ready to leave .
We all packed into miles car and drove all the way to 22nd street.
The ride was silent. We were all nervous.
We knew what was at stake during this mission
