You had been a member of the LOV for a few months now. Everyday you grew closer to those you now called family. You'd spilled blood for those around you, and them for you. Having formerly been a hero you knew the ins and outs of how they worked you used it to your advantages giving the villains an upperhand.

Having your heart broken, betrayed and learning the hard way that a hero is just a fake title those in power hold to seem bigger and better then you was a lesson you were sorry to have learned the hard way. It came in handy though, love being the very last thing on your mind gave room for you to focus, become stronger.

Your quirk was being honed in ways youd never thought possible. It left little room for much else, especially not that trivial basic feeling that now made your skin crawl. Youd made this clear on several occasions and most of the others thought you just preferred being alone.

That relationships and romance werent something you needed, and you were fine with that. If you felt lonely you just went away for a while, destroyed some stuff and felt fine. Lonely didnt exist in this new version of you. This version was tough and didnt care. Wouldnt care. Because you knew the price that came with it.

However that didnt seem to stop a certain man from taking a liking to you. At first it had been a brush off, light threats and easy looks nothing unusual for Dabi. But it had grown and while you ignored it and brushed him off as a light annoyance he was starting to peak your interest.

And that? That would lead to a loss in focus, in aiming for the goal. This stupid jerk had no idea what he was doing.

He had grown bolder escalating to aiming comments offhand only meant for you to hear and giving you the smallest brushes of his hand when he could. You had to give him props for the determination behind such a stupid foolish drive despite your very open opinion on not being involved.

Youd come back from a shitty mission. It was supposed to be easy. In and out recon, no collateral no fight. It went sideways. Fast. Youd had a close call and your nerves were taking the damage. Block it out. Drink it away. Drown it in something it couldnt crawl out of. Fear was as weak as you used to be. And it had no place within you.

Drinking that night seemed like a great idea until you heard a voice come from behind you. The low husky voice you knew very well whispering deeply in your ear as drunk and slurred as youd ever heard him

"One day Little Mouse, you'll be mine. You'll scream my name and beg me to never stop. I'll break every single thing holding you back from me. I'll wait and play your game...but the Cat always wins." He licked your ear and before you could turn, he was gone. You felt the shiver flow down your spine, but you couldnt place the feeling. Disgust? Arousal? Need?

It all blurred together as you watched where he had vanished. Foolish man, not knowing those words had stirred a feeling youd long since buried. One You didnt want to feel. One that had already left you broken and cold, empty. A shell of who you once were. You glanced down at the scar on your arm as the feelings rocked through you.

A longing for all the dark and dangerous things you knew he could deliver. All the delicious sounds you could pull from him.... The desire pulled at your resolve. A war now stirring within you at his promised words. He wanted to play this game? Fine. Stupid man would learn his lesson the hard way....by losing.  This Mouse wasnt going down so easily. And this? Oh This was gonna be fun.
