My name is Casey, I am the shy girl or a nobody in fact.
People ignore me, but I am okay with it because I am use to it. My mom died when i was small. Very small. My father goes on business trips all the time, i think the reason is to get away, because this place reminds of her.
I don't blame him.
I would too.
I go to Breezy High School. It's mostly boring there, well for me. I just be a nerd in class, and be a loner in free period. Although I am technically not alone, I am within the distance of the jocks. They always love to pick on people like me.
Everything kinda changed when the new boy came though.
Everyone started laying off of me, and paying attention to him. Sometimes I caught him glancing at me, but I would think it was because of my paper, with all the correct answers, of course. Everyone uses me like that. They act like friends, but really they just want my answers.
I believe his name was Danny, because everyone called him that name. So I assume so.
But the changes began in February 5, 2013.
-FLASHBACK-
I woke up to my alarm, 6:30.
"Ugh, another day of being alone!" I cried out loud.
I got dressed, ate my bowl of cereal, then went to the bus stop. I waited there for only 5 minutes until some jock looking guy came along and sat next to me.
I took a sneaky glance to him, and what I had notice was his eyes, and....... the schools sign on his jacket.
I had turned away quickly, before he had notice me staring.
"Hey," he said to me. I thought in my head, "Why is he talking to me? No one talks to me." The friendly side of me came out and then said, "Hi" back to him. I looked at my phone pretending to do something else, not wanting to continue our conversation.
"What are you doing?" He had asked me. He probably wanted something from me.
"What do you want?" I snapped quickly at him. I told you I didnt want to continue the conversation.
"Nothing. I just wanted to talk to you. Can't we just talk?"
The bus came. Right on the dot. I hurried inside the bus, paid, and took my usual seat.
Since I had no friends there was always an open spot, so just my luck he sat right next to me.
We sat in awkward silence. I looked out the window, while he was doing something, else.
The bus had stopped abruptly. I hadn't realized that we had arrived to the school.
"Everybody off," the bus woman had said. Quite rudely I may add. I waited patiently for Danny to get out of the way.
When he finally got his happy butt up, I quickly followed behind, and got off of the bus.
I went my own way to my locker. Its peace and quiet. Hardly anyone goes that way, actually no one does. That's why I like it. It was outside of the school, but theres a specail door next to my locker that leads to outside.
When I heard footsteps in the background, I became alarmed. I didnt want to turn around, it was to soon. Instead I quicked up my pace.
The door was in my view, and the footsteps were still behind me.
Then all of a sudden.......
