Upside Down

I woke up and stared at Caleb's arm around my waist. I grabbed my phone off his desk and stared at all the missed calls,twenty of them were Callie five was Jason and three was from Matt.God i forgot to to tell them i was staying at Caleb's.I called Jason first and waited for him to answer.
Convo with Jason

Jason:hello

Me:Jason i am so sorry about last night.

Jason:it okay i watched a movie with aria

I sighed in relief that he wasnt mad at me

Jason:so what are you doing?

i opened my mouth to answer when Caleb cut me to it

Caleb:come back to bed,babe

I frozed

Jason:well i guess you're busy

Jason said harshly

Me:Jason

i said but he already hung up the phone

Me:why do you ruin everything!!

Caleb stared at me silently

Me:why cant you just mind your own business

I stood up frustrated he wasn't answering me. I walked to the bathroom and slammed the door.

I stepped out in towel thank god he wasnt there. I took my dress. The door opened just as i was about to pull it down.Would it kill him to knock

Caleb:i...uh made you breakfast

Me:oh

We walked down stairs and i stared at the table. There were two plates of egg with Oj and ice tea. He sat across from me. I hesitantly grabbed the fork and took a bit of my egg. It wasnt bad, a little too much salt but not bad

Caleb:look i want to apologize for what i did earlier, but you should know am not going to stop. I made a mistake about us about letting you go

He leaned forward and grabbed my hand

Caleb:i think we should give us another chance

I pulled my hand away and watched his face drop before he covered it right back with a straight face

Me:you had a chance Caleb but you screwed it up like always

Caleb:i want to be more than friends

Me:it too late

He expected me to run to him after all this years but that wasnt going to happen and the reality was Caleb just wanted a challenge and thought that me ditching Jason for him would be the ultimate challenge.

I sipped on ice tea☕☕☕

Me:why arent you eating

Caleb:not until you hear me out

I stood up not wanting to talk about this again.

Me:this conversation is over

i grabbed my phone and i was about to walk out when Caleb mom called after me.

Me:goodmorning Mrs.Payne i thought i went to work

Mrs.Payne:no work today anyways i was wondering if you could stay for lunch

Caleb:She will love to

He say pulling me closer to him
