(Tyler's house) Terrence woke up from the smell of breakfast. Yes his little cousin Tyler let him stay with him. Terrence slept on the couch though. It was comfortable, better than sleeping with what they give you to sleep in jail or prison.
"I see you up now" Tyler pointed out. "Yeah, thanks for letting me stay here man" Terrence spoke sitting up and stretching. "No problem man and dad's coming over here too" Tyler warned. "To stay with you?" Terrence questioned confused. Raising an eyebrow.
"Nah to have breakfast and he said he wanna see you since he ain't seen you in all these years" Tyler confirmed. Terrence nodded "Oh ok" Said Terrence, finally understanding now.
"Whatchu cooking?" Terrence questioned standing up. "Oh nothing but some waffles, sausage and scrambled eggs and that's it" Tyler told him. "Hmm, sounds good" Terrence admitted. "Yeah" Tyler said.
"Do you mind showing me where the bathroom at? I gotta use it" Terrence confessed. "I gotta use it" Tyler mocked. "Saying that like a damn 4 year old" Tyler joked. Terrence bursted out in laughter.
"But Fr man, I gotta pee. Where's the bathroom?" Terrence asked once again. "Down that hall right there, the 1st door on the right" Tyler instructed.
"Thank you" said Terrence. "Welcome" Tyler replied.
Terrence went into the bathroom to pee. About a few seconds later Tyler heard someone knock on the door. "Come in!" He semi shouted. And there was his dad.

(I would've put Patrick Faucette as his dad but it's too many haves and haves not characters in this book. Ik Keith David don't look nun like Tyler but let's just imagine that Tyler looks like his mom ok?)
"Hey dad" Tyler greeted. "Hi, where is my nephew?" Keith asked, looking around. "He's in the bathroom, he had to pee" Tyler told him. "Well he'll be out soon cause I hear that water running" Keith spoke. Referring to the water running that sounded like Terrence was washing his hands.
