Our new school was located in Tokyo. Ushijima and Satori were also at our high school, but everyone else had stayed in Miyagi. We started to see the crew less and less, although, we still visited most holidays and some weekends.

The first term had started. Semi had taken music and drama. He'd always wanted to perform, yet he couldn't decide whether he wanted to be a guitarist or be an actor. I wanted to be a maths teacher. I never really had a reason for my aspirations, I just thought it would be an amazing job to have. Satori wanted to be a psychiatrist because he wanted to help people who are going through tough times. He told us he wanted to because he was bullied as kid and wanted to help children that were going through the same thing he did – it was undoubtedly the deepest and most heart-wrenching thing he'd ever said to us. But then he ruined by talking about how mirrors don't break, they just multiply. Ushijima, was trying to become a professional volleyball player, but was training to be a teacher too. He said he wanted to be a teacher if he isn't good enough to be a full-time player.

I awoke when I heard the infuriating sound of our alarm clock.

"Semi, could you turn off the alarm clock?" I groaned, lazily.

"no! you do it," he mumbled.

"could you let go of me then?"

"no." Semi had been cuddling me that night and I could barely move. He was being pedantic and the noise of the alarm clock was frustrating me. I started trying to wriggle free. Finally, I broke free and turned off the blaring alarm, then turned to face Semi.

"come on, get up!" I said, giving him a little boop on the nose.

"nooooo!" he yelled from underneath the sheets. I yanked the cover off him and opened the curtains.

"whyyyy!" he complained. We got up and ready for school. The trek from our flat to the school was dismal, making it an easy journey. We got through the gates to see Satori and Ushijima waiting for us.

"took you long enough!" satori scoffed.

"I'm sorry, but this dimwit didn't want to get up," I replied, nudging Semi. we all chortled while Semi yelled at me. The buzzer eventually went and we all sighed heading to our classes.

Classes were marginally easy. I had always been good at maths; I just didn't understand why people hated on it. I had double maths today, which I was pleased about. I may have been good at maths, but I struggled to make friends with the people in my class. I hadn't made any new friends since we'd came. I did often talk to a guy named Takuma. He was slightly taller than me and had dark brown hair, it was practically black. He had bright green eyes that were shielded by his round glasses. He was nice, I guess. He lived in the same building as us; when he found out, he was very excited. He wouldn't stop talking about how great of a coincidence it was. I told him that the building was close to the school and that many students lived there. He chose to ignore what I said, after a few more seconds of talking, he went off to talk with some of his friends. A reason I didn't class him as friend was because I felt more like a back-up option. Like I was the person he went to after he couldn't find his friends. I strongly exhaled and prepared for the next lecture.

My lessons had done for the day, but Semi's had one more music lecture before he could hang out. I had planned to buy him some flowers. It was no particular occasion, I just thought it would be a nice thing to do. I headed over to the shop and happened to run into Takuma.

"Hey, Shirabu! What ya doin' here?" he asked, cheerfully. He was waving to me, so I headed over to him.

"Hi, I'm just here to buy some flowers," I replied, feeling a little mortified
