chapter 7- a rumor

Lyra pov

he has been ignoring me ever since the kiss and i had no idea why i mean a kiss like that there had to be something more to it right i mean im not just overthinking this maybe i am.

i was making my way to the great hall when i noticed the same boy from charms looking my way his stare frightened me and i quickened my pace by so did his

i was begining to panic which seemed to be a regular occurrence recently. i needed to find someone "stonewall where are you running off to come hang out with me" his voice rang through the halls sending shivers down my spine and not the good kind. it made me uneasy something about the way he smirked it was pure evil

most days i noticed people all staring at me and i had no clue why but for whatever reason it was now starting to piss me off but what's worse is i want to know why draco was ignoring me

"Miss Stonewall a word please" i looked over to see snape waiting for me with the same emotionless expression that he always wore. normally i wouldn't want to come in contact with him but right now i had never been so thankful to see him so i gladly followed him to the dungeons to where his office was.

when i entered he shut the door and took a seat infront of me " your parents have come in contact with me asking for your presence at home tonight after classes, so after dinner you will come with me back here and you will use floo powder to get there" why did my parents want me home and why couldn't just write to me

"do you know why professor" he stared at me for a second before getting up and gesturing to the door without a single word. i knew there was no way that i was going to get anything out of him so i left and headed back to the great hall.

when i arrived to my friends they all looked angry but it was nothing compared to the scowl on draco's face which softened at a glimpse of me and it kinda made my heart flutter "lyra do you know what people are saying about you" a lump in my throat formed it felt as if every muscle in my body was spasming so i took a seat in-between draco and pansy shaking my head as doing so

" lyra their calling you the school slag because people saw you holdin hands with draco and then only a few moments later seen hugging blaise and... and they think your fucking them both" pansy was turned towards me explaining to me what they were saying but i couldn't hear anyone my ears filled with a loud ringing sound. this must be why that boy asked me to mess around with him. was this why draco was ignoring me

i still couldn't hear anything and things were starting to become immensely stagnant " loo, darling look at me everything is going to be ok im going to fix this alright just calm down loo" i could only hear his voice the way it danced through my ears and into my mind. i felt myself calming down i was staring into his eyes longer then i should have no doubt but i couldn't help it

was he always this beautiful?

draco's pov

after kissing loo i went on a hunt for finnigan and thats when i saw him he was standing with Thomas and Weasley "FINNIGAN-" i grabbed his collar and ripping him to face me watching the colour drain from his face "what the hell did you say to stonewall in charms" both the other boys didn't dare touch me "aww is malfoy jealous well sorry to burts you bubble mate but i reckon its my turn now"

anger...i felt nothing but pure anger "what you think you and zabini can get some but i cant" does he ever know when to shut up " what the fuck are you talking about "i was seething at him knowing it scared the shit out of him

"look malfoy theres been some talk-" i shoved him harder against the wall "what kind of talk finnigan" he took a deep gulp "t-that shes going between you and zabini maybe even more"

if i thought i was angry before now i was livid "these a false accusations and if i hear from her that you bother her again expect your blood on my knucles" i gave him one last shove before walking off

this is why loo was too good for me i let my anger get the best of me i was ready to kill him over a rumor.

Rons Pov
"no guys you don't understand malfoy cares for her i know it" after what i wittnessed with seamus i had to tell harry and moine i was in shock i mean malfoy of all people just defended a hufflepuff

"ron he was probably doing it for his own selfish reason he cant go tainting his death eater reputation" haryy was pretty hung up on malfoy being a death eater this year... i think its because bellatrix is draco aunt and harry never got his revenge on her so now he wants to take out malfoy as payback.

"will you stop it harry there is no possible way that malfoy is a death eater have either of you thought about the fact that maybe he just likes lyra" moine was pretty set on him not being one but malfoy having feelings and caring about someone other then himself not likely

Lyra POV (back to present time)
"ahh thank you draco" his atttention was now gazing around the room like he was Mundivagant " oh by the way im heading home after dinner my parents wanted to talk to me about something but i don't know what it is" i smiled softly at them.

little did she know her whole world was about to tip upside down.......
