I don't know what to say.
This, is the moment that I am scared of.
Mew will know that Nattarine and I are the same person. He will be mad, that's for sure.
I snapped out of my deep thought when i heard him spoke.
"hey Marcus, you okay? is there something wrong?"
"Oh, nothing Sir, just some work to do when i arrive at the office. You were saying?"
He scratched his nape, too shy to repeat what he just said. But then,
"I need your help Marcus, I am looking for my boyfriend."
"B-boyfriend? And why would you need my help looking for him?"
"Because he lives in your area. You see, we have a kinda complicated relationship. He always go missing in action every time he spent the night with me. I got so fed up with our set-up so i decided to follow him last night. And that's where I found out that he lives in the same area as you. That's why I ask, no, needed your help. Help me locate him. "
He grabbed my hand on the table and look directly in my eyes.
"Please, I am begging you. I want to know who is he, really. Not that whatever i will know will make me love him less."
I gaped my mouth open. Then close it. I don't know what to say. If i agree to what he wants, i need to continue deceiving him. And i don't know how long will I last. If I confess to him now, i know that he will be mad at me for sure. And as of now, I don't know what will I do if that time comes.
"Please? Help me? I will owe you my life for this. Just please, help me."
I look directly at his eyes and stare at it for 5 seconds, then heaving a sigh, i answered.
'Okay I will. Just please give me time to look for your b- boyfriend, okay?"
And looks like the heaven's gate opened for him, he smiled widely, and for too much happiness that he felt when i agree, he envelop me to a hug while saying thank you.
Whew. Looks like I need to be good at pretending.
And because of that, I don't know how i survived, my breakfast with him.

I can't contain my happiness. Finally! I will know my Nattarine really well. Thanks to Marcus, I will not have a hard time finding where is he. Speaking of which, when can we start looking for him? oh well, I just have to wait for his update. Then I can go from there.
Hayy. Never felt this happy, i hope he can find him very soon. I miss Nattarine so much. But then, gotta work for a living. As much as i want to stare at nothing all day, i will work hard and earn money. I open the small drawer on my left and pull out a black velvet box, containing my precious gift for my love.

Gulf Marcus
I can't function all day. I kept on thinking what will I do to prolong my confession to Mew. As the time goes by, i know i have to admit it one way or another. But I don't know how! Aghhhh! i shouldn't have call him that day. So stupid Gulf!
Frustrated, I turn to face my table and do all the jobs that was on pending list because i can;t work while thinking what will I do. Plus tonight, Ms. Bai and her wife Hakken will have a celebration for their anniversary, as a treat to all the firm staff, we will log out from work early and celebrates in a exclusive club just for us.
THE CLOCK strikes 4. And as of the memo today, we can go home by 4 and will meet up at the bar by 7pm. I still have few more hours to prepare. I collect my things, and went down with other employees to get out of the office. I hear Josh was saying or asking me something but i was occupied by the thoughts about Mew's request. I can't even back=out now. I want to slap myself really hard so i can think of what to do. i didn't even realize that we are almost at the car parking when i felt Josh tap me.
"Gulf, you okay? I've been meaning to ask you that. You've been spacing out. Do you even hear what I ask you?"
" I'm sorry Josh. Just thinking about something. You were saying?"
"Tsk, tsk. Leave the work for now. Let's enjoy the party okay? Now back to my question is, do you have a ride to the party? I can pick you up and drop you again after".
I think about his offer, hmm. that will save me from driving. I was about to say yes, when I heard a voice behind me.
"No need. I will drive him there myself. "
"M-mew. What are you doing here?"
He look at Josh first, then at me, "I am also invited to the party. I decided to pick you up and drop you too later. Let's go. "
He was about to drag me to his car when i felt my other arm pulled by someone else. Josh.
"I'm sorry Sir, but i offered first. Isn't it a bit rude that you will just drag him without asking for his approval?"
I saw how Mew's eyes glint in so much anger. But Josh was right too. I was about to open my mouth and decline to both of them when Mew a faces me, his eyes pleading me to go with him. I also look at Josh and saw him looking at me too.
I sighed.
"Im sorry... Josh. But I'll go with Mew. Thanks for the offer."
I saw how a triumphant smile broke on his face when I choose him. Oh boy. Why am I too soft for this guy?
