"Coffee." Are the first words Lydia Martin hears as she gets in the back of Dexter Klein's' car. "He owes me big time." Zoe states as Lydia quietly thanks the twins. "What did he do this time?" Dexter scoffs as Zoe laughs "I did nothing." "What didn't he do?""How's Jackson doing?" Yesterday at practice Scott rammed into Jackson on the field and messed up his shoulder. Dexter smirks proudly as he has to admit he was proud of McCall for doing that. Zoe glares at her brother before turning around to give her best friend a sorry glance.
"Zo, sweetheart, you need to tell your new boy toy that his friend needs to learn his place and stay in it. Now because of him who knows if we will win tomorrow."
"We still have Dexter." Zoe mutters to herself as they arrive at school. "I'm with Lydia on this one," Dexter admits to the girls, "He is our captain we sorta need him." The trio gets out of the car, Lydia compliments Zoe before walking into school.
The girls lock arms with Dexter following them. Zoe looks around trying to ignore all of the stares of her fellow classmates. She wonders if she just missed the mark of liking people staring at you or appreciating it. Zoe could go more for actual conversations.
It seems that before class started, Scott went to Coach and told him that he couldn't play the game on Saturday. Word got around from Dexter and Lydia both of them texting Zoe knowing that she could ask him nicely.
