The plane ride back to vancouver wasnt as long as it had seemed. It seemed as if every minute was going back at the rate of a turtle. I wasn't necessarily excited to go back to vancouver, but i know i needed to. I couldn't bail on kenny and the cast like that. As the plane finally landed, I texted Savannah so she could pick me up.
The 4 days i spent at home opened my eyes a little bit. Apparently Savannah had filled my mother in on everything that was going on with Charlie. She sat me down and basically told me to stop being a little bitch and live my life, not to worry about Charlie and Isabel. So that's exactly what i was going to do.
As i walked off the plane and towards baggage claim, I saw Sav and Owen waiting for me. A smile instantly forms and i'm back to my happy self. It as if Sav and Owen are my home, away from home. They are the two best friends i would never trade for anything.
"I missed you," Sav whispered as she hugged me tight. She hugged like if she left go, she wouldn't get to do it again. I frowned at the thought and made a mental note to talk to her later.
"I missed you guys," I said once i finished hugging Owen. He offered to grab my bags as Sav and I began to catch up. "I may or may not have a guy for you, just say the word and i'll give him your number," She whispered in my ear. "Go for it," I smiled. Sav looked at me shocked.
"Maybe going home was a good idea," She chuckled and linked our arms together. "I missed you Soph," She said as she laid her head on shoulder. Savannah let me have the front seat of Owen's car as she sat in the back. I plugged my phone up and began blasting our favorite jams. I was happy to be back with my people and I don't ever want to leave again.
"How was the trip home?" Owen asked as i helped him grab my bags. "It was good, my mom sat me down and told me to get my shit together," Owen and I chuckled.
"You know, your mom is kind of right. You've been in such a slump since that night, it's time to bring out the wild Sophia again." He said as he gave me a kiss on my head. "Now come on, let's get inside, we have an early call time tomorrow."
I walked into my room, slowly putting all my clothes away. Looking back on the last month, i realized Owen was right. Nothing was holding me back anymore. Charlie clearly didn't want me, so I can't keep dwelling on it. I need to move on, so that's what i was going to do.
"So who is this mystery guy?" I ask Sav out of breath from sprinting to her room. She quickly pulls out her phone to show me a picture of him.
Oh boy was he attractive. "How do you know him?" I asked obviously confused. "That, my friend, is none of your business. But I sent him your number and you should be receiving a text very very soon," Sav said as she clicked her tongue. I sat on her bed studying the picture as the ring on my phone scared me. I looked down at my phone and saw i had a noticification. I picked up as i read, 'Hey i'm jase, Savannah gave me your number.'
I let out a little squeal as i showed Savannah the phone. "Damn, i didn't think he was gonna text that fast. I just sent him your number," Sav laughed but i didn't care, he was hot. "Sav he's hot," I said as i replied a simple 'hey :)'.
Owen walked into Savannah's room giving me a weird look. "What?" I said as he continued to look at me weird. "Who's hot?" He asked walking into the room fully. "I'm setting Soph up with Jace, since charlie wants to be a little bitch." Savannah said nonchalantly. I chuckled lightly at her comment. "I swear if one more person hurts you Soph, i'm going to murder them," Owen said walking out of the room.
