Angela was pacing back and forth in the living room as she waited for her father and mother to come in from the doors. "Angela, calm down they'll be here." Angela's mate said as he came up to her and placed his turquoise talons on his mate's shoulders. "I know Broadway, but I can't help but feel nervous. I mean these are my biological half-siblings." Angela said to her mate. "Well then I guess, you better come and meet them my daughter" Angela looked up to see Elisa and Goliath come in both of them carrying a hatchling each. "Everyone, I would like you to meet Katharine Violet Maza and Apollo Malcolm Maza," Elisa announced happily. Angela was the first one to come up to her adoptive mother and her father. "Father, mother...they look like both of you." The young female gargoyle replied as she brushed a talon against each of their cheeks. "Aye, the lass is right. The young lass looks like you lad with yer mate's coloration and wing shape and the young lad looks like Elisa with yer coloration and wing shape Goliath." Hudson said as he came up to get a closer look at the new additions to the clan. Afterward, the clan and Elisa chatted for a few minutes before Goliath said that patrols needed to be done when Elisa walked up to him. "Goliath, love, I would like to patrol with you tonight," Elisa said as she took her mate's hand. "My love, are you sure you don't want to stay with  children?" Goliath asked. Before the detective could speak, Angela spoke up. "Don't worry about it, father. Broadway and I will watch them. You two go on patrol. Besides, when was the last time you two went out on patrol?" Angela reasoned. The two looked at each other and agreed with their eldest daughter. The two of them haven't been on a patrol since everything that has happened within the two years that the two had been together as gargoyle and woman. Elisa's capture, the wedding, the birth, and the fight with Demona on Avalon. "Well, if you want to watch them while the two of us go on patrol, my angel," Goliath said finally as his eldest daughter and her mate took Katharine and Apollo from him and his wife and mate. "We're positive Goliath. You and Elisa get going and the two of us will take turns watching them while we prepare breakfast for all of you when you get back." Broadway said as he rocked the hatchling in his arms. Goliath nodded before pulling his mate into his arms. "Very well then if you are sure. My angel of the day let us go." Goliath said as he carried her to the exit. "Just be careful with them okay? They're still babies." Elisa called out, who in return got a rebuttal from her eldest who shouted out at her father to get her out into the night sky. Goliath chuckled at the exchange softly under his breath before taking a running leap off the parapet of the castle and into the night sky with his mate securely in his arms.

*two hours after patrol*

The clan, Fox, Xanatos, Maggie, and Claw had the Great hall finally set up for the shower as Talon was stalling the clan leader and his mate. "Maggie, can you tell Derek that he can bring them back to the castle now?" Angela said to her adoptive aunt. The lioness mutate and nodded before calling to her mate and husband through the communicator.

*Derek's sector*

Derek banked right, towards central Manhattan, where he knew, Goliath and Elisa were patrolling. Just as he was passing an alley, he heard the sounds of fighting, snarling, and growling. Derek made a sharp turn and landed on one of the roofs before observing the fight. He scanned for two certain gargoyles. As he scanned, a cry of pain resonated throughout the fight. Derek whipped his head in the direction of the cry and saw his sister against the back wall of the alley. Derek snarled and leaped from the roof, and landed in front of Elisa. As soon as he landed, the panther mutates noticed that the foes were none other than Jon and Fang. "Fang!" Talon snarled. "Well if it isn't the Leader of the Labyrinth," Fang shouted sarcastically. "Elisa, sweetheart, where's your big purple friend?" Fang asked ignoring Talon's threats. Elisa was frightened, as she clutched her stomach and folded her wings close to her body so she could make herself smaller. She then heard her mate's voice come from behind Fang and Castaway. "Right here," Goliath said, causing fang to turn around only to get a fist to the face and be knocked into a wall before slumping down and going unconscious. Castaway couldn't stand being outnumbered so he picked up fang and left. Goliath then went over to his mate, who had shifted back into her human form out of fear. "Elisa, are you alright." The lavender gargoyle asked. the detective nodded before trying to get up but failed. "I don't think I am," Elisa said as she clutched her stomach.
