She shakily held the phone managing to type the contact of the person she wanted to call.
"Hello Emily?" Edna 's voice could be heard at the other end of the call but she was met with silence which made her confused.
"Are you okay Emily? Please talk to me."
"They want to take my kids away. They want to give him to that jerk." She sobbed, her heart being heavier than an anchor.
"Calm down Emily. Who wants to take your kids?"
"M-mr. Ta-taylor and Mi-cah. I overheard them planning it."
"No one will take your kids. Maybe you heard wrong. You told me so yourself that Micah is a good person so is Mr. Taylor."
"That was before I found out Mr. Taylor is his father. Please Edna I need to leave here. I cant' stay here even for a minute. Please help me."
"Okay calm down. Here's what we will do. Just pack a little of your stuff and that of the kids. I will book a night flight for you to come live with us for a while. Nate is on a business trip and won't be coming any soon. So you and the kids can stay here until we figure out what to do. I don't want you leaving to a place I can't keep an eye on you and the kids."
"I will do as you say."
"Good, now dry those tears and go pack."
She ended the call but sat in the restaurant for a while because she didn't want to run into Micah.

"Sir she is gone!"
He shouted making it feel like a screech over the phone.
"Who Emily?"
"Yes sir, her things are not here neither are the kids. The nanny is not here too."
He came home to find an empty house with most of Emily's and the kid's stuff gone.
"She mustn't have gone far. I will ask the boys to search for her. She can't leave!"
"Okay sir, I wil.............."
"Emily!" he dropped his phone and ran to her, taking her in an embrace. She looked weak and tired.
"I thought I have lost you. Where have you been?"
The nanny brought the kids in one after the other as they were both asleep.
He didn't get any reply. She just had no emotion in her eyes and it felt like all she wanted to do was to just hit the bed and sleep away her worries.
TWO DAYS LATER(Monday)
She shut her car door loudly so that all the attention will be on her. She felt energized and renewed as she walked on her six feet heels to her office. She didn't fail to make noise with her heels since wanted everyone to know that she is back but with a different agenda.
She first went to My Taylor's former office which now belongs to Shawn but she regretted her decision immediately she went in. She failed to knock because she wanted to surprise him but she was rather surprised.
On his desk was her friend Nicholina who was in a heated kiss with him. They broke apart when they heard the door opened.
"Who asked you in without knocking?" He asked without knowing who it was at the door.
"Sorry sir, I didn't know that my boss's office has been turned into a hotel room."
"Emily?" they called out simultaneously quickly turning around.
