The camp

I wake up to a squeak from the pegasus, because we are there.

The Pegasus know where to land, so we'll just leave that to them.

We are still quite tired so it is only when we have come all the way down to earth that we discover how beautiful it is, our parents have tried to explain what it looks like, but this is just 1000 times more beautiful than you can imagine , just with it all, the forest, the strawberry field, the cottages, it all.

While we are standing and enjoying it, a centaur comes to us, a centaur has a horse's lower body but human upper body, and he says that his name is Chiron and that he is the camp manager and trainer.

We introduce ourselves, but he already knows who we are, or more accurately, who our parents are. He says we must follow him.

He shows us around, and when he's finally done, it's getting dark.

He says we should be introduced to the other campers.

So we go to the fire and then I discover that someone is sitting inside the flames, she waves and I wave back, I want to talk to her more, I think. Chiron makes the campers quiet, and asks us to introduce ourselves.

I say that my name is Hazel Chase Jackson and that it's my twin brother Luke Chase Jackson and that we have lived in camp Jupiter until today because we are now 13.

I look around and see someone sitting and whispering, and I can read mouths, as in that I can see what they are saying without being able to hear them.

I look at Chiron and he understands, or he's really just saying everyone should go to bed. Afterwards he comes to us and says that we can sleep either in the Athena cabin, from our mother, or the Poseidon cabin, from our father, he says that there are 10 in the Athena cabin and that there is No one in the Poseidon cabin.

So me and Luke agree that because we just need to get used to this place, that we will then sleep in the Poseidon cabin.
