Chapter 14

Bakugo sat with Todoroki and midoriya as they waited for the trials to start. Kirishima and Kane sat in the middle of a big circle. One person stood in the middle of them. He asked them each a question and they would give an answer, and each one felt like it took hours.

On the fourth one, their answers were fast and simple. When it was time for their break, Kirishima got up from his chair and went up to where they were sitting.

Bakugo moved over to make space for him to sit. But when he got to Bakugo, he looked down at him with puppy eyes. "Tired?" Bakugo asked.

Kirishima nodded his head, yes. Bakugo smiled and reached his arms out towards him. Kirishima sat down on his lap and hugged him.

"Are you feeling okay?" Todoroki asked.

Kirishima shook his head, "I'm tired. But I guess I'm okay. Each question felt like it took forever. I feel like l zoned out a few times."

Bakugo hugged him tighter, "I think you're doing a good job. Kane's answers are always somehow about him. Like, just about him. He never talks about how he's gonna help everyone else here."

Kirishima sighed, "I just wanna be done already. My head is literally pounding right now. I'm just happy that we're on the last one now."

Midoriya smiled at him, "You're gonna win, Kiri. Don't even worry about it."

"But what if I don't? There was no information about the last trial. There was no practice we did with it, nothing. I have no idea what the last trial is gonna be. What if I fuck it up? If I fuck that up...then no matter what else I said, I'Il lose."

"You won't lose, Ei."

Kirishima looked up at Bakugo, "can I have that kiss now?"

He grabbed Kirishima's face and gave him a kiss, "another one?"

Kirishima smiled and nodded his head, yes.

Bakugo leaned in and kissed him again.

Todoroki rolled his eyes at them, "Okay, you guys can stop now."

Kirishima laid his head down on Bakugo's shoulder and hugged his arm. "Can we go back up to earth for a while after this? Let's just all get completely drunk, please."

"Whatever you want. You deserve it."

Kirishima looked up at Bakugo with a smirk on his face, "whatever I want?"

Todoroki sighed, "stop! We're right here!"

Bakugo started laughing and leaned close to Kirishima, "anything you want," he whispered.

They kept talking for a while as they waited for the next trial to start. Kirishima held Bakugo's hand in his and played with his ring.

A couple of minutes passed when they called them back down. Kirishima hugged Bakugo tightly, "tell them I'm busy."

He gave Kirishima a kiss, "go. One more and then you're done. Then we can go lay in bed and get as drunk as you want."

Kirishima stood up and sighed, "very convincing," he leaned down and gave him a kiss, "I love you."

Bakugo smiled, "I love you too."

"Good luck, Kiri."

Todoroki looked up at him, "go kick his ass. I wanna get drunk."

Kirishima smiled at them then headed back down.

Kirishima and Kane sat back down on their chairs.
