just some notes before we start! i ended up cutting chota's scenarios bc i genuinely couldn't think of anything for him. sorry if there's any chota stans reading this fic, i love him but he's not really a character i have a grasp on. also im actually tossing up whether to continue these scenarios or just write a full length fic bc these scenarios are getting too long lol (lemme know what you'd like to see! i'd be happy to do either if i'm being honest)

anyways, thank you to everyone for reading and commenting!! i usually write on ao3 so im not very used to wattpad so im glad everyone seems to be liking this!

you don't expect to encounter arisu so soon after that first game, but lady luck seemed to have other plans in mind. the chances of being in another game with him were almost zero, but here you were, standing on a roof and face to face with the man who saved you. the nerdy looking kid who spent the whole game crying quickly scurries off with a 'thank you!' to the both of you, but it's not him that you're focused on. 

what a surprise that you'd be placed in another game requiring teamwork and slowly get baited into playing along with the same guy. once again, you find yourself impressed by him. he had zero reason to try and save everyone since they were fucking one another over, but he tried to anyways. even if the only people he could save were you and that kid. 

he pulls down his hood once he knows you're both alone, giving you a once over. "it's you...from the tag game, right? the one who called out the tagger." his voice is weak from shouting, and you're a little embarrassed that he recognises you. the short haired girl and the man in the white hoodie had done more than you, but apparently you were memorable enough. 

you're not sure if that's a good thing. "and you're the one who asked in the first place. i'm not surprised to see that you're still helping people out." it's been weeks since you've had a proper conversation, so you think it's a little stiff. if arisu notices, he doesn't say anything. in fact, he seems a little happy to see you, if a little flustered by your compliment. (it's a little cute, if you're being honest.)

he introduces himself and you do so in turn. arisu doesn't seem like the type to casually reveal things about himself, but he recounts his journey so freely that you just have to ask why he's being so casual. you've only met twice, after all. 

his answer is...one you weren't expecting, given your nature. "you've helped me twice already- even when it didn't directly benefit you. maybe it's in my nature to trust people, but i don't think you'll try to do something to me."

how disgustingly sappy. 

(and yet, when he brings up working alongside him and a friend to finally get out of this land, you agree without thinking. maybe you aren't as much of a lone wolf as you previously thought.)

while you hadn't planned how you'd introduce yourself to the (pretty) new girl, you wanted to give a good first impression. maybe show her that not everyone at beach were braindead sheep following their leader, and that you were somebody she could trust. 

instead, she corners you sometime after dinner in a hallway, a distrusting look in her eyes. "i don't know who you are, but you keep looking at me." she starts indignantly, looking like she's had enough of everything that's going on at the beach, "what do you want?"
