The girls had wanted me to get my face painted JoJo came along with me back to the painting station while the girls spent a bit of alone time with their father. Joseph was of course out on the prowl for the next pretty girl he sees. "Do flowers anna!" Johan gushed while bouncing next to me as I sat at the station.

"Lellow flowers" he turned to the painter and pointed to the yellow face paint on her

"Boo!" I felt my chair tilt back causing my heart to drop and my arms flail at the fear of falling. "Relax, I've got you" Quince laughed from behind me letting my chair go. "Oh my God, you asshole" I stood up and hit his shoulder. Junior was practically dying laughing "oh was it that funny?" I asked him shaking my head. "I'm glad you guys made it-" I hit Quince in the shoulder again which made his son giggle even harder.

Oh, I see...I took another jab at quince's shoulder "ow!" He rubbed his shoulder and junior was now rolling on the floor. "See this is why you're my favorite Quincy," I told junior. "Where's everyone?" Quin asked rubbing his shoulder still. Junior calmed down and hugged me. "They're somewhere around here. I'm just taking a small break."

"Where's mine?" His father pouted making me shake my head. I then hugged Quince who dropped his hands on my waist but not too low, not in an uncomfortable way. He looked at my outfit "you look good today"

"Thank the girls for that. They picked our outfit"

I grabbed his hands on my waist to remove them. "Anna sit down!" Johan scolded me "who might this be?" Quin asked looking at Jojo. "Hi, I'm Johan..."

"Hello there Johan!"

"Daddy daddy I really wanna go on rides" Junior whined jumping up and down tugging on his jacket "This is my son Junior."

"Sup" the two little boys greeted each other.

"Oh, here you go honey" I gave junior my unlimited ride card, "Thank you!" I could always get another one. "Why don't you guys come to join us and the girls." I offered the boys which they happily agreed. "After face paint!" Jojo yelled pulling me back to the seat. "Yes baby after."

We found the girls and their father at the cotton candy stand where the girls had their candy floss. "ou how lucky, I hope you guys said thank you"

"Yes!" "We did" "uh-huh"

"Junior!" Elena giggled and came over to us. "Can I have some?" He asked staring at her cotton candy "Yes."

Emilia shared her floss with Jojo. "Thank you!" He giggled "You're welcome Jojo!

Mathias

Joanna introduced me to quince and his son. My girls made friends with his son at the park. It's nice seeing my girls made friends even though he is...a boy.

"Hey mister" someone grabbed my hand, I saw Joanna's little brother "Yes bud?" He seemed so comfortable with me so quickly "you said we could go on the bumpah cars."

I chuckled at his reminder "I did say that didn't I?" He grinned up at me and nodded. It was quite adorable if I do say so myself. "Anna my new friend and I want to ride the bumpah cars," he told his sister who looked at us mid-conversation with her brother and the other guy. She smiled and nodded "of course baby, just help Emilia finished that cotton candy" she spoke to the children so motherly and sweetly. Even though she doesn't have children of her own, I know for sure she'd be an amazing mother.

"Otay"

"I wanna ride with Joanna!" The twins shouted at the same time. I know they're my girls but, it does freak me a bit out when they do that. "I'm riding with mister!" Johan raised his hand and jumped.

There were only duo seats. Which meant both my girls couldn't get into one cart with Joanna. "Why don't Elena and Junior ride together and Joseph and Quince ride together?"

My Elena seems to not mind and hopped right in next to the little boy who had flushed cheeks. I squinted my eyes at her as she waved at me giggling. I got into one of the cars so did little Johan on the drivers' side. The size difference between us was almost hilarious, especially with the small car we sat in.

"Papa!" Emilia called for me I looked at her to see her holding the steering wheel bouncing her seat and waved at my Principessa. My eyes then fell back upon Elena with the boy.

"Are you my sister's boyfren?" Johan asked so casually "what? No no I'm her employer." I correct him, "Empoler?"

He let out a huff and looked up at me "I dunno what that means"

Joanna

I glanced at Jojo and Mathias see them talking and laughing. It made me smile "Joanna! We're moving" Emilia squealed as the cars started to move. "AY", a shout came from behind me so I turned around. Elena and Junior giggled as Quincy squinted his eyes at them, I'm guessing he got bumped.

"Beep beep" Emilia hummed on the wheel avoiding cars. "Milia sweetheart you're supposed to bump people" she shook her head cruzing around the edges away from everyone else.

The rest of our night was just perfect. Quince and Junior had gone home early due to his bedtime. The sky was now full of stars and the fair was illuminated with bright neon lights. Everyone else at the party had either gone home or were still enjoying the fair festivities. "Anna...hug me." Johan whined sadly "Here I'll take them to your car." Mathias told me before taking Elena from my arms holding both girls. "Oh here's the keys..." I held it up, but his hands were kinda full. "Ahh." He opened his mouth..."You're gonna let me put my keys in your mouth?"

"The button woman" He chuckled, I put the door lock clicker between his...very white oddly perfect teeth. "Top is to unlock" "mhm" he mumbled walking in the direction of the car pressing the button to see where it is.

"I like your boss" JoJo hummed as I took the brat from Joseph. "You're spoiled" I mumbled, he didn't reply but laid his head on top of my shoulder burying his tiny head in my neck.

"Can I go with you?"

"Oh, baby you have to go home with momma." I rocked the sleepy boy patting his back softly. "Awe" He whimpered, breaking my damn heart. "I'll come to visit soon okay?"

He didn't answer and instead pushed off of me and clung to Joseph who took him. "He's mad at me" I sighed, Joey gave me a tight hug "He'll get over it" before walking back to his car.

I groaned softly tugging at my ponytail and jogged to my car seeing Mathias having a bit of trouble. I tapped his shoulder and took one of the girls. "Thank you" he huffed opening the car and helping me buckle the girls.

As soon as we got them both strapped Mathias sighed softly. "Today was fun..." he hummed back a reply and looked at me sheepishly. "Thank you, Joanna."

What was he thanking me for "For?" "Being so great with my girls. It's been a lot easier" He went one "You don't have to thank me Mathias. They're amazing, you did a great job raising them" it was simply the truth. These girls were so well-behaved, well-mannered, and absolutely a pair of sweethearts.

Mathias then did something unexpected and it caught me so off guard. He pulled me into a brief hug... He was much taller than me and had to lean forward to hug me. His cologne smelt so nice...I had to stop myself from sniffing him like a weirdo. "Hey.." I patted his back awkwardly "I'm sorry-" He broke away from the hug quickly.

"Hey, it's fine! Who doesn't like hugs?"

"I'll see you at home." Then he left for his car in a rush.
