In his Memories Lies the Unspoken Truth

Chapter 5

The trigger of the gun has clicked.

No bullets' came out.

Monkey D. Luffy, has yet again shown his luck of the devil.

"Shishishi. I guess I'm lucky after all.." Luffy said with a wide smile as he passed the gun to 'Stingy'.

The pirates and some marines, and revolutionaries, let out a breath they didn't notice they have been holding.

"I swear I'm gonna die of heart attack because of this kid." Thacht said as he dramatically clutched his chest, which caused a few chuckles from the pirates.

"Don't we all yoi."

Everything happened so fast. One minute the noble was spinning the revolver, the next minute he lays dead on the floor, a bullet through his head.

Nami held a hand to her mouth as she gasp. "Luffy.. grew up in this kind of island..?"

"I've just met Luffy-san for a couple of weeks. But I already know that almost nobody knows of his past.Yohohoho." Brooke said.

"You're right Brooke. Heck we didn't even know that Luffy has a family! Well.. not until we met Ace and Garp." Sanji said as he lit a new cigarrete.

"Luffy doesn't care about pasts.. he just cares about whats' currently happening in the present." Zoro said with a proud smile.

Luffy's smile widen even more as he saw the gun drop from Stingy's hand, and landed on his feet.

//A/N: Oh yeah I wanted to put this as a dark Luffy. Because I haven't really read Dark Luffy stories that I enjoyed and um yeah. Luffy is like hmmm a person that fools people with a 'good nature act'//

"WHY'S HE SMILING?!! DIDN'T HE JUST SAW A PERSON DIE INFRONT OF HIMSELF?!" Nami asked frantic.

Ace just frowned as his eyes darken.

All of them noticed the sudden gloom expression that Ace is wearing.

"Ace..? Do you know something that we don't?" Sabo asked his brother while shaking his shoulders.

Ace just continued to frown as he stared at the screen.

Luffy's smile turned into a grin of amusement as he saw the nobles' eyes widen as they gap.

"Why the hell is he grinning?? Somebody just died! It's a noble, but still! It's Luffy!" Ussop said as he started to shake a little.

"Shishishi! Ne~Did you guys expected me to lose in the first round?" Luffy said with a small smile, that is just really damn creepy.

"Nebula-swama are you sure this is a memory? And not an.. AU?" Sanji asked.

Nebula then gave him a small smile that reflects the smile that Luffy has been wearing currently. "Yeah... that's a memory."

"This was not the pirate that I fucking met in Louge Town." Smoker grunted as he fiddled with his jutte.

The nobles each got their turn, and surprisingly Stingy is the only one that lost in the first round.

"Shishishi. Round two!" Luffy said as he spun the gun around his hand.

Luffy spun the revolver as he pointed it at his head.

No bullet came out again.

"Shishishi! I really am lucky!" Luffy said as he grins once again with a hint of amusement in his eyes.
