(Edward's POV)
The bell had rung and now we were waiting for class. Ugh. Another day in this shitty school with these shitty teachers and even shittier kids. At least I had David. Speaking of David, where was he? I'd just seen him, but where was he now? I didn't have time to think on it though, as Mrs. Liu had come and let us into the classroom."Okay, uh, Miles?" she started to take roll.
"Here"
"Talia?"
"Here"
"Shushanna?"
"Here"
"Edward?"
"H-here," I said, starting to get worried. Soon she would call David's name and realize he wasn't here.
"Leo?"
"Here"
"David?"
No answer.
"Does anyone know where David is?" Asked Mrs. Liu.
"He was here earlier but he just disappeared," Isabella said.
"Okay, can someone go look for him?" Mrs. Liu asked.
"Me, I'll do it," I was quick to respond.
"Okay, just don't take too long."
I practically ran out of the room, starting to go down the stairs through pouring rain.
Ah shit. I thought to myself. It had started raining. But I was determined to find him.
And there I saw him, sitting under the stairs, shaking and soaked. He looked upset, he was even crying. He didn't notice me, so I decided I would just take the sight in front of me while trying to think what to say. I looked at his shaking figure, just wanting to take him in my arms and dry his tear-stained face and tell him everything would be okay. But I couldn't. So I thought of the only other thing I could do.
"David, what the hell! You made Mrs. Liu make me look for you. Now I'm gonna get in trouble for you being soaked in the damned rain!" I said, trying to sound annoyed as possible.
"Well I'm sorry I don't want to be in that horrible class! Just leave me alone!" He yelled back.
"Well-well I-" I started to say, but ran to the bathroom as my eyes started to fill with tears. He yelled at me. He actually yelled at me. Well Edward, you've done it again.
