Chapter 1: It all changed today

Naruto's POV

Hi my name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and I am 7 years old and turning 8 at the end of the end. I am also the holder of the kyuubi (Naruto has both halves). Everyone hates me and beats me, even my family. The day after tomorrow is the day we all enroll for the Ninja Academy that I want to go to but I can't because my parents won't let me

I woke up this morning to hear Kushina, my mother if she could even be considered that to me, screaming. "Naruto! Wake up and get down here, you need to clean the dishes before you can eat" I got up and headed towards the bathroom to do my morning routine. As I reach for the door knob, the door swings open and Mito pushes me back, "get out of my way" She said as she pushed me back. After I finished I headed for the stairs, before I finish taking my last step down the stairs, I feel someone push me from behind and I fall face forward and scrape my left cheek. "Be careful where you step." I turn around to see Menma with a smirk on his face. "Hurry up Naruto!" My mother shouts at me "How dare you eat the cake I made for your siblings. It is for their birthday." She raises her hand, I don't even flinch as she slaps the left side of my face. I have grown use to this after all. "You will stay in your room at the end of the day." She lets go of me and I walk towards the kitchen and do the dishes, grab an apple and leave the house. Nobody cares about where I go. 

I walk down to Ichiraku's Ramen Shop to go eat. When I arrive, I give him money that I stole from parents. Ichiraku looks at me and sees that I have a scrape on my left cheek and my eyes were watering. He frowns. "Don't worry, I'll let you have it for free since you seem to have had a bad day." He gives me a comforting smile. "Thank you so much." I say as I starting eating. I leave after finishing. "Thank you so much again." I say with a smile. He nods.

 I walk towards the park. A few kids insulted me as I walk by. I go to the town. It is night so the streets are quite and there are few people out. Then I was dragged by two men into an alley and they started stomping on me. I see two ninjas behind them, looking at me with disgust and they leave. After that I go home. "Where have you been?!" My mother screams at me as she grabs me by the arm and takes me upstairs and throws me in to my room. I hear her lock the door. "I swear, we would be better off disowning him" This isn't the first time she said this. I lay down on my bed and start crying. After a while I fell asleep.

Kurama's POV

Setting: We are in the mindscape behind the cage that hold Kurama

Again and again and again I see what this child goes through on the daily. I feel bad knowing that they only do this to him because of me, even though someone else was controlling me. "Soon I will have enough chakra stored and I will be able to break out. Naruto has fallen asleep," I say to myself "I will break out now." As I focus my chakra to break out I see bubbles start to rise. It's Naruto, he stands up and looks at me. Not fazed at me at all. "So you are the Kyuubi," he scratches his head "Ehh I don't like saying Kyuubi, it makes you sound like a mindless beast but your not. So what is your name?" He ask me with a straight face. I chuckle a bit after my shock goes away because of how he reacted after seeing me. "I am Kurama, nobody has asked for my name in a long time, it feels good that someone knows my real name." He enters my cage and walks up to me. "I'm Naruto but I'm sure you already know." He introduces himself. I was shocked that he came up to me with no fear and even treats me the same. The only other person to treat me like this was the old man six paths. I felt happy. "Nice to meet you in person." I tell him. "Same" He says with a smile. "Aren't you mad at me for making your life like this?" I asked still completely confused. "Do you mind if I lay down on your tail, it looks really soft and pretty." I nod "Sure." I am completely shocked at the fact that I let him lay down on my tail. Though it did make me kinda happy that he complimented my tail. "So can you answer my question now?" I ask. He nods.

Long dialogue ahead

Kurama's POV

"At first I really did hate you," at this my ears droop as I become sad (He will be like a dog like that, expressing his emotions with his ears and tails) "but over time I realized that you were the one stuck to be with me and had your freedom taken away. Why? So that the Hokage can use you as a weapon whenever he wants. I just don't know how to stop it. I want you to know that I forgive you and that I don't hate or blame you for anything." I feel a little and a little relieved. "Even after everything that has happened you still choose to forgive me?" I ask him. "Yes," He said bluntly. I was surprised by his anwer. "I will find a way to free you and I'll stay by your side this entire time, just like you did." As he said those words, I felt a tremendous amount of joy wash over me. "There is one way to free me." I said as I remembered that there is a jutsu that can make a shadow clone my body." Naruto sits up straight, "Really?! That's great for you, but what is a shadow clone?" He looks up at me.
"I will teach it to you and many other things. I will tell you this now, I am gonna stay with you because I like you." I notice that Naruto begins to blush. I give a little laugh. I teach him how to weave (A/N: I thought of the pokemon, weedle, when I said weave) the signs. "I will take care of the rests." I tell him.

Naruto's POV

I woke up, surprisingly only thirty minutes have passed and everyone has gone to sleep. I go out of my window carefully so as not to activate any of the alarms. I go to the house in Uchiha District where my friend, Sasuke (yes they are friends), lives. I still feel bad about what his brother did to his own clan but I am here to comfort him. I knock on Sasuke's door. After 5 minutes of waiting he answers. "What do you want Naruto?" Sasuke ask as he rubs his eyes "It's almost 10 PM" I rush into his house. "I know and I am sorry," I apologized "Can you keep a secret?" He nods his head. "Pinky Promise?" I hold out my pinky and Sasuke rolls his eyes but still wraps his pinky around mine. "Promise." I nod. "I trust you then, I am going to free the Kurama from me." Sasuke looks at me confused. "Who is Kurama?" I remembered he doesn't know his real name. "Remember the Kyuubi that is sealed within me?" Sasuke nods "That's the Kyuubi's real name and I want to free Kurama so that people will never use us as weapons as again." Sasuke sits. Sasuke was thinking about what to do and he agrees to keep watch outside. "Thank you" I say. 

I then proceed to make the shadow clone. Next thing I know I am pushed down by my clone. Except of having my blue eyes, it has ed eyes with fox like slits instead of pupils, it is kurama. Kurama is pushing me down and is slowly inching towards my face. "What are you doing Kurama?" I ask and get no answer. I close my eyes preparing myself for what was about to happen.

I will try my best to update but I'm writing 4 different stories, including this one, at the same time. I also got school going on and my ADHD keeps distracting me.
